Man, I still remember when, Grian joined and asked, how hermitcraft works, and TFC answered: "like a great big psychotic dysfunctional family". 3 Seasons later, and it stil holds true. ;)

@@SkSkNutella first episode. Grian joined at the start og season 6. Fun thing, the hermits went through a portal from season 5 to season 6, and met grian waiting for them. When one of the hermits quipped that grian hadn't done much building in "his world", TFC retorted: well this used to be a skyblock world, and grian build everything. Not sure if my quote is word for word correct mind you, but it basically sums it up.

TFC was perhaps the only real hermit: living isolated from the world in his cave. I'm glad he's out of pain but also somewhat sad that he didn't get to play on the Caves and Cliffs update properly. Rest in Peace TFC o7. ❤️

Remember when TFC fell in a lava trap during Demise and instead of panicking or trying to use his fire resistance potion he just laughed his ass off? RIP to the most hermity Hermit.

I watched TFC occasionally but his slow pace made it difficult for me to focus but I did go back and watch his four season 9 videos today. He’ll always be important to Hermitcraft and Minecraft history.

Under settings, you can change the playback speed to your liking. This has saved me from stopping so many KZfaq videos (not necessarily Hermitcraft/minecraft related)

Rest in peace TFC. 2022 has been a bad year for the minecraft KZfaq community. Me and my online friends have talked about his death and came to the conclusion, that we hope, that the hermits make something in the server for him and that it’s sad to know he won’t get as much attention as techno.

I mean it's understand able it will get less attention. And it's not a bad thing. It's not like his death isn't relevant or sad because it doesn't reach many people. It reaches the people who care, that's the most important imo. He barely had the amount of views/relevancy/subs that Techo had. So ofcourse more people will care about Technos death. But those numbers reslly change nothing about their passing.

He was focused on building 'ugly as heck' this season, so I think the hermits need to finish his ugly AF cabin next to HHH's spawn farm, and maybe a large tunnel system underneath in his honour, imo.

I still remember a couple seasons ago, when everyone was trying to kill each other. I think it was Xisuma who put loads of TNT over a chasm of lava with a lectern for TFC to read. TFC blew up the TNT but he survived due to Blast Protection 4 armor. He fell into the lava at the bottom and LAUGHED his head off at the attempt to kill him. The most hermitty of hermits will be missed dearly

I'm actually fairly sure that's the first TFC episode I watched, and that I watched it precisely because the Recap showed that bit and I wanted to see the full reaction. His laugh was amazing. And I loved that he always decorated his mines.

Funnily enough, I also started watching TFC because he reminded of my own dad (They both had the same laugh and was born in the year too). My dad sadly had passed away last year from liver complications so this news felt like a punch in the guts after I had finally gotten over his death. I'll miss both of these geezers with my whole heart.

Didn't start with the hermits till season 7 I'm still finding new favorites. Never watched any of his older stuff but if you go back and watch him I guarantee his laughter will make you smile. He be laughing like a super villain at a tree or a rock or something.

TFC inspired me so much to work through pain after being diagnosed with a chronic illness, he always was the KZfaqr I went to when I felt severely overwhelmed with the world. RIP TFC, may your mines be full of ores

He helped me with my illnesses as well. That’s why it hits so close, because of the impact he had on my life and the inspiration to live life through the pain and discomfort. I’m going to miss the feeling of having him in my corner.

TFC to me is THE hermit mine(craft)er. I'm so glad that some traces of his madness will be left on this World Download, and so sad to know it will be the last. His laugh was just about the greatest one on earth, so raspy and cheeky and whole-hearted. You will be missed, Chef!

I know Tinfoil Chef's videos (especially these last couple of years) were slow paced and not to everyone's liking, but he was my favorite Hermit and I enjoyed his laid back style. (Quite possibly because we're relatively close in age.) He's the only Hermit to whom I've subscribed to his second channel. I'm really going to miss him and wish I could have met him in person. Rest In Peace. Go with God.

Tinfoilchef always had a special place. I didn't watch him a ton but to me he was the truest Hermit. Pretty much doing his own thing on his own slice of the server.

I read it this morning on Docs twitter feed and i am devastated. I loved his laughter, it was just so pure and honest, straight from his heart. and he kept it old school in terms of his playstyle :') I hope the Hermits will be doing something big in his honour. Although i'm fairly certain they will. Condolences to his family, his second family and his friends

I really have respect for hermits like TFC. They aren’t as big a name as people like mumbo and Grian, and it’s clear that they aren’t doing this for income or popularity. It’s clear that they just enjoy playing Minecraft with their friends and sharing it with us so we can enjoy it alongside them. Rest In Peace, Tinfoilchef.

@@Skeleman11 Pointing out the difference was one of TFC's things. He (as most Minecraft players) branch mines, because a strip mine is when you strip away materials layer by layer from the top until you reach the thing you want to mine.

Tfc was definitely my favorite hermit. His old school style of video making and building reminded me of my childhood. His season six vault remains my favorite build in hermitcraft history and I doubt that will change anytime soon. The server truly wont be the same without him. May you rest in peace mining master.

TFC had a lot of health trouble in his later videos, I’m sure he was suffering and now that suffering is over. We will still remember him, and can always look back on his countless videos from days of old. Rest In Peace old friend.

I have watched TFC on and off for a number of years, he had a great sense of humour and I did some amazing things on HC. Its a shame he is gone, and my condolences go to his family and also to all his other fans who will greatly miss him.
