Actually it's basic math. increasing level means increasing the number of attributes, for example 1+1 = 2. Meanwhile forging is multiplying the basic attributes of gear, for example forging lv 1, 10% bonus from basic attributes. So if your basic attribute is 100, then you get an attribute boost of 10, and your basic attribute changes to 110. If you ask which is the best, I think it's still increasing level. Because in practice, it is easier for you to get gear or XP enhancement as material to increase gear level, rather than essence stones for forging. However, according to calculations, both must be increased equally so that the bonus given is maximum.

To upgrade gear level, you can use any type of gear & rarity, or better use XP enhancement gear.

Unfortunately, for hero gear. The tier cannot be upgraded by just raising the level. You really have to get mythic gear directly, you can buy it in in-game packages, or at the Arena shop.

I suggest that you only use uncommon and common gear to upgrade your hero gear level, because rare and epic are standard gear, while you are chasing mythic gear.

You can equip your epic gear on any of your heroes, good as a foundation while waiting for mythic gear, but for level upgrades and forges? I recommend only mythic gear.

as far as I know, for mythic gear. The maximum gear level is 100, and for mastery forging it's lv 20.

You cannot convert hero tiers such as from rare to epic, and epic to mythic. you have to get it from the event or from the hero hall.

You must have access to the Gear Chief, in order to use the design plan.
