Happy Diwali Buddy . . . . . Hero did all the necessary updates but they didn't updated the oil filtration system, I was expecting a Paper Oil Filter and easily accessible Oil Strainer. It's an overkill to open the whole engine RH cover just for cleaning the oil filters. Also, I think if the brake pedal had a feature to remove and add a rubber pad just like it's provided in the Footrests, it would be Awesome.

What really matters in offroading and touring is the torque output. The himalayan has higher torque amd most of it is lower in the rpm range.

I don't think so, to be honest i hate hero bikes, i have my father's passion pro and trust me it has worst engine, whereas when I rode honda dream yuga, i was amazed with the engine compared to hero's same price and hero has worst service in my region, come on dude you are comparing RE with hero, and that too himalayan, you ask RE owners who tour, they will surely answer you well, and just by this video we can never understand what this bike or himalayan is capable of, you need to ride both..then you will understand why the price is more for himalayan.

@@hspavankumar8015 naa I don't believe , test motorcycles have demo or test stickers on it ot it is registered with showroom. Hero showrooms pan India is giving test rides on showroom sale motorcycles. As they don't follow the culture of test bikes. I own a BS6 xpluse and i know it as hero hasn't mandate it to have a td bike. Hero is doing special events for new Motorcycles for customers to test where they give proper company registered motorcycles.

They need to register if it test vechile also

I would say go for platina or hf deluxe to learn and then switch to 200cc plus when you pocket and skill allows you

@@id7447 Yup the long bore certainly has more life and take me wherever you want sorta tune to it. But that said, this xpulse looks irresistable with this kinda off-road accessibility and pricing. Can be a great starter touring bike which can be modified into complete off-road only bike later and Himalayan can be the tourer.

Its best for touring and u cant feel any heat in pillion but pillion seat is extreamly uncomfortable
