Lots has happened in 2023 in my Heroes of Bronze project. Most importantly, "The Memory" shortfilm was finally released, achieving more than 700k views and claiming numerous awards, for which I am immensely grateful.
Throughout they year I continued working on the project. From behind the scenes, to story content and illustrations, there's a lot to recap.

Hey Martin, just mindblowing what you did. I love it. Actually i am on a similar path than you are....just way behind. Creating a short film as a one-man-show is...well, i do not need to tell you about it. Anyway, I work with MAYA not with Blender. I really tried to get a grasp on it, but i find Blender the most anti-intuitive 3D Package on the market. (Ok, the 1st Place is still zBrush, but thats another story) Process is slow. mostly as you metioned - money related. You cannot hire people and funds are limited. Looking forward to finally get the needed Rokkoko Suit 2 in March. Still i lack more that i know about putting a short film together and i will pop in at your courses soon. All the best and get the fuck going i want to see part 2 :)

I wish you luck on your grand project, it is said that "Luck is what happens when preparation meets opportunity" and who knows maybe these opportunities come not from Olympus but from the place of great power on the hills. *madman laughs and runs away*

I ve seen the mini film . Literally looks Hollywood production worthy . Historicall accurate , Graphically beautiful , depiction of badass greek warriors , interesting plot . This should be funded to become an actual movie or mini series

Without knowing anything about the short story, I might suggest "A Pathetic Fragment of Freedom" as an altenative title. It retains alliteration, but I think its less of a generic term than "piece". I'm guessing your intention, so its just a suggestion.

If you had the opportunity to create the full show, would it be a historical epic or with fantasy elements too (Olympians, mythological creatures, etc).
