Lovely and fresh Ed full marks for your cooking, When l cook mine usually just add a smaal bit of butter as they are an oily fish, dad them in seasoned flour pan fry each side for 3 mins and serve, also nice grilled whole on the bone just put 3 cuts either side of the fish lay on foil then grill 3mins each side remove and squeeze a bit of lemon. Enjoy. Great Video.

Ed, OMG what a feed. If you get some fresh herring i will drive any distance to pick them up and happily pay you for them. Almost impossible to get FRESH off the boat herring these days.

GREAT video. American, here. I don't care if you talk with your mouthful. This is a FOOD video.. The YT videos that end and there's no shots of the chef eating the food and sampling what they made are AWFUL. Great job. I will be coming back.

Yes it still tastes ‘fishy’ but not as much as some other species

You’ll have to keep an eye on all the selling sites, they do come up for sale but very rarely.
