Hello!
I'm opening an order I placed with Herrschners during the lead up to their annual warehouse sale. They had a few new mystery bags available and I nabbed a few yarns that I loved too.
What do you think of the deals? Would you have taken them up on the offers?

I agree with you about those baby yarns: I wouldn't put them together either. Also, i understand about yellow. It was my grandmother's favorite color but for me it's got to be the perfect shade & the perfect project.

Hi Erin, the Bernat yarn looks lovely for a cardigan. The packs didn’t give me the wow factor but they would still come in handy x

The wavelength yarn is on clearance at Mary Maxim right now. I really like the opal color.

🧡🧶 in the baby mystery packs im seeing 3 different smaller lovie size blankets. The red and dark marled together and two with the primer colorways. I dont think its a loss... just not exactly what I would have hand picked myself. It's definitely a way to get yarn to push the imagination 🧡🧶

I don't think the baby yarn colors go together either. I look forward to seeing the projects with the wavelength yarn. LOL yes where does that metabolism go?????

Me personally don't use bulky yarn, especially for baby. Maybe an amigurumi.

Oh!! I thought I knew what yarn you are thinking of. I thought it was Premier Yarn too but I can’t recall the name. I couldn’t find one on Ravelry Premier Yarns page that went ding ding ding! Is this the Mandela effect? 😂 I was thinking it could be Anti Pilling Everyday DK Dots but the color blips might be longer and more frequent in your bag. Perhaps they were “irregulars” of the ones were guessing. Oh the mystery! I agree I wouldn’t put 3 and 5 together in one project, even if colors matched well. I think the quantity for the value was good but I don’t know if I’m in love with the selection either. Not too bad though!

I think Herrschners did you wrong my friend & knowing that you can get those bags even cheaper on sale from Premier makes it even yuckier! I haven’t ordered from Herrschners since December 4th 2023 & that is a huge thing for me since I was ordering sometimes twice a month.

Yeah that baby surprised pack threw me for a loop! I think each yarn is fine, but not together. And I’m not sure the bulky is “baby”

Not a lack of imagination on your part….those baby assorted packs do not go together! It’s almost like they bagged up some of that $1 yarn and sold it in a pack. Herrschners could have done a better job on the packs. ❤️🧶
