A most underrated Scifi movie, a real must see. Especially having Lemmy Kilminster as the Taxi driver, Iggy Pop as the radio DJ.. Pure class.

One of the most atmospheric tunes I have ever heard. So many dystopian images go through my head while listening to it. Suited this movie perfectly.

It's now become a sort of Cyberpunk anthem, being featured in the best cyberpunk movie (Hardware) and the best cyberpunk game (System Shock).

Saw this movie 🎦 in the theater 🎭 in 1990 when I was 36 , I am 68 now. Great movie 🎦 ! Very deep and symbolic ! Loved the religious significance ! Still remember driving to see it and who I sat around in the theater 🎭. Spooky midnight 🕛 showing 2 times. OH MY GOD THIS WAS 30 YEARS AGO ! SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY ! AS THE YEARS MELT AWAY !

I saw this movie in the theatres and pretty much immediately went across the street to the closest record shop I could find and bought the soundtrack of this movie for this song alone. That was the first time I ever bought a sound track (one of only 2 I ever got, 'the Fear' being the other one for the Morty theme). This was actually a really good movie, I thought, I always enjoyed post apocalyptic type thrillers. The director of this movie also made another one of my favourites, called 'Dust Devil', which was a great atmospheric thriller, imho, with amazing cinematography.

Totally agree with Zippy. An underrated movie, one that could be be compared with Blade Runner, thought it's even lower-budget. But as it is, it's a work of art and one of the most atmosferic film ever made. An iconic one, though.

Never seen the movie as it didn't do so well back in the day, IIRC, but I love this track. It is also the end track for the System Shock remake (video game), which is what brought me here. Maybe I'll give Hardware a go all these years later.

A Masterpiece!!! with the appearance of the best musicians of the 90s scene + a fantastic OST !! sublime state of the art.

I love Cyberpunk. This is why the original run of the Battle Angel Alita manga was so good. Post-Punk music fits in so well. Also Industrial music like early Ministry and KMFDM.

This movie was not only a stupid flick about a monsterous robot. Hardware has, maybe due to it's awesome soundtrack, really melancholic vibe. Such a weird but lovely combination.

They put this as the end credits/epilogue track in the System Shock remake, very fitting.

This movie popped into my brain, so I came to KZfaq to see if any uploaded it. Played this tune like five times to get that odd vibe back even though I couldn't find the movie...

i searched nearly ten years here in germany to get a copy of M.A.R.K. 13 on DVD, its on the index here, for only god knows why... accidently i found one on a second hand market in 2002... you can´t imagine how happy i was , i LOVE this movie ;)

A week prior to the broadcast of the latest Mr. Robot episode, I had chanced upon this very clip. Which is why I was familiar with it when it played on Mr. Robot. It captures the dystopian feel of that episode.

Rumor has it, when he got booted from the island of Dr Marou movie, he casted a spell on the island and it rained and had hurricane level winds for almost a month straight. This actually documented in the documentary about the movie. I forget the name of the documentary though.

I love this dire movie and song from the film. The robot is like Short Circuit crossed with Terminator. I also love how all the effects back then were not all CG, but actual props and models. So much cooler even on a small budget if they were creative.

Can wait to live in a postapocalyptic world with all radio stations playing industrial all the time.... Thanx!

Quarantine music edition for ChinaVirus apocalypse

A movie massively influenced by SHOK! by Kevin O'Neill (RIP) that featured in 2000AD. Great tune though....

I saw the movie on TV in the mid 90s and I liked the song. Later I forgot the title of the movie and because there was no internet yet, I had almost no way of finding the song without the name of the movie. In the early 2000s i bought a pc and started using the internet. At some point I remembered the song, but still without a name and so whenever I thought about it I started looking for it. However, it took several years until I came across the title by chance in a movie forum around 2010: M.A.R.K. 13 - Hardware And with KZfaq, I was able to hear the song again after almost 15 years of searching. A few days ago I watch Umbrella Academy and hear this song, it's a crazy world ...😃 Imagine I would not have found it again and would have heard it again for the first time in such a long time at Umbrella Academy ... I would have fallen off my chair ...
