James had essentially outshined Ken during his briefer appearance on the show and you could tell that this tournament meant a LOT to Ken. And in the end Ken deserved to win; although he humbly and correctly stated that with just a different question here, or a contrasting category there, the outcome could easily have been different. And Brad's style of buzzing in just didn't work versus James and Ken; it wasn't that he missed that many answers (although a couple Double Jeopardy moments definitely set him back).

Idk about them but I'd be worried about upstaging the host. I mean you don't want to come off as a dick.
@OfficiallySarabi2 жыл бұрын
@@Slowpoke3x i think with these three, specifically, they'd been on jeopardy for so long (especially Ken, who works on the show) that they built up a rapport with Alex. That made them more relaxed during the game. And since the three of them are Ultra Champions they're frequently together for publicity things. It's like watching a bunch of friends banter for half an hour. It makes a great show lol. But for the regular contestants, they're usually nervous and just trying to win

it's a shame. In his prime he was the winningest Jeopardy contestant (in terms of tournament wins) in history. He essentially retired from the game for years, only to return for this tournament due to Trebek's bout with Cancer. But after so many years (where the game changed a LOT, especially due to James' shift in strategy), he was so out of practice he couldn't remain competitive. He absolutely deserved to be in the GOAT tournament, but had no real chance of winning. It's like if Babe Ruth facing off against the 2020 Los Angeles Dodgers pitching staff. It's not that he's talented, it's just the game has moved on so drastically.
