@@nickypoo52 Yh but an Air fryer is cheaper and quicker to use. It's more convenient if you aren't cooking for tons of people. Cosori Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer. I love making salmon. I like to salt my fillet overnight, and then when I’m ready to enjoy I preheat to 400 degrees. @leegaul2161

It's actually worse than hypocritical. In terms of involvement, a rice cooker does 95% of the work for you. A slow cooker about 80%. An air fryer, at best 50%. You still have to know what mode, temperature, timing, and basket arrangement for an air fryer, or you will absolutely destroy your food. This takes time an expertise. A rice cooker literally requires you to dump rice into bin, add water, turn on, then take a nap.

the Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer would be great for my kitchen, as a student my usual kitchen workspace is fairly small for the number of people using it, so this would allow me to cook things like salmon with teriyaki sauce, or your air fryer fries recipe on a regular basis when the kitchen is full.

My advanced thermo prof at MIT chortled with glee when ovens with fans hit the consumer market. *Finally!!* I remember him every time I save energy and get a better result in an air fryer. Those 45min min from frozen chicken cordon bleu? Turn on airfryer, Microwave the frozen thing in a sealed (or steamer) bag for 2 minutes (or until it puffs +30sec), toss in air fryer until crispy (5-10 min) 45min down to 7-12 min & superior crispiness.

I would be thrilled to have the Cosori Dual Blaze! One of the reasons why I've been hesitant to get an air fryer is the size of the basket that wouldn't allow to cook enough for at least one leftover meal, so that would be huge. I think the first thing I'd try is your falafel recipe!

If I’m lucky enough to be chosen as one of the winners, my preferred air fryer would be the Dual Blaze 6.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer. My older sister has been complaining about the lack of a broiler on our current one. As for me, I usually use the air fryer to reheat things like bacon, wings, & french fries. I personally don’t have an air fryer because I don’t cooked fried food often, and the other uses for it I can just use my oven for That being said, I think it’s extremely hypocritical of Josh to say that Air Fryers are pointless when his recipes include things such as dehydrators, sous vide machines, vacuum sealers and smokers - all things that the majority of his viewers would likely not have and not have the budget to afford.

The model I’d love to win is the Green COSORI Pro II 5.8-Quart Smart Air Fryer. My favorite air fryer recipe i use constantly is, of all things, chicken wings! This recipe, quick and simple: 2 lbs chicken wings, cut at the joint to make your separate wingette and drumette pieces, dry chicken thoroughly. Mix together 2 tablespoons peanut oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper, pour over wings, toss to coat thoroughly. Work in batches of 8, air fry at 400º F for 25 minutes, shake occasionally and give a little oil spray once during cooking! Repeat with remaining wings, then toss in your favorite sauce!!

My air fryer has been broken for some time, so this is exciting! I love making homemade “chips” using fresh made and boiled pasta noodles - just gotta crisp them up in the air fryer! I latched onto this idea once I had my kid and, without giving up my love for snacks, wanted to find an option that wasn’t quite as unhealthy. The seasoning usually is about 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon of each of the following Chili powder Cayenne Garlic powder Onion powder Smoked paprika (always smoked) Cumin Salt We usually do about a half pound of pasta for this. Throw it in the air fryer preheated to 400F and cook for about 10 min
