I really hope my grandpa doesn't see this, I had a really hard time explaining that the "damn talking thing" wasn't purposely passing him off, was not related to the woman in his GPS , and didn't understand phrases like "why the hell not?" When it says it can't find an answer for his question. I swear , he can build a dam , be in charge of hundreds of people, and fix anything, but can't stop arguing with electronics, he also doesn't get the idea of give it a moment, no don't push that , you can't just push everything at once, and wifi is different when you travel. I love him to pieces trying to explain things to him , is amazing, he used to wonder how I was able to get lost all the time and wonder why I couldn't read a map very well. Now he needs me just as much as I've always needed him.

I never could get my mom to understand iCloud or that her home WiFi is different from the cable connection to the computer. She’s done pretty well though considering home computers weren’t common until she was about 47. BUT my dad just got an iPhone. He doesn’t want KZfaq because he “doesn’t want any extra junk” on it. Junk…the app that can show him how to fix, build, create most anything. Learn anything from languages to history to how global warming works. It’s just junk. 🙄

Used Google home, got all 3 with 1 question "What's a color changing lizard", "what do they call it when it's silent in yoga' and "what's that movie with steve martin getting shot at and making holes in gas cans" google got all 3 :)
