Joey Batey & Anya Chalotra are interviewed for Netflix's The Witcher Season 2. The series stars Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan, Joey Batey, Kim Bodnia & its showrunner is Lauren Schmidt Hissrich. Scott Davis was asking questions, tossing coins.
Plot: Convinced Yennefer’s life was lost at the Battle of Sodden, Geralt of Rivia brings Princess Cirilla to the safest place he knows, his childhood home of Kaer Morhen. While the Continent’s kings, elves, humans and demons strive for supremacy outside its walls, he must protect the girl from something far more dangerous: the mysterious power she possesses inside.
The Witcher Season 2 debuts December 17, only on Netflix.

Agreed. There's this certain aura about her that makes me instantly respect her. She seems very humble and I get the gut feeling that she has a more introverted personality, which makes her more relatable for me.

she's afraid and not good at public speaking. you can tell she keeps looking at her co actor like she's afraid to talk and wants him to speak. look at her co actor directs the moderator to talk to him and not her. the mug is a distraction piece. 92 IQ?

Anya seems so anxious and uncomfortable in most interviews. even in this one you can see her hands and legs shake a little. I am happy they paired her with Joey for press, she seems far more relaxed with him. plus, it seems he lets her speak unlike freya who kinda dismisses her and keeps her silent most of the time. (no hate to freya, i don't even think she notices)

Confused on where the Freya hate is coming from in some comments, she did a great job acting and is also pleasant to look at. I really hope you people are not deciding what her personality is based on a few interviews, when shes a 20 y/o. Like some of you people were perfect at 20. Also who watches a video with 2 great cast members and lets their minds drift to something they dislike? Stop being so negative.

yeah she literally just went from being a young teen to a famous actress. she's got a lot to learn. i would cringe so hard if i was being interviewed for the world to see at 20.

I am so glad they now pair Anya and Joey together in interviews. Cos Anya and Freya, it didn't really work. Freya has bigger ego, bigger than her acting skills, I should say. I'm still bothered by those little smirks she does in season 2, even after 2 times rewatching. Anya, on the other hand, obviously has much sharper acting chops but irl she's more of an introvert, she doesn't always know how to properly articulate her thoughts. Thank the gods for Joey. He's so fun, positive, polite and talkative, it doesn't feel overwhelming for Anya. Good job pairing them, marketing team.

Anya and Freya are lovely together. There are new interviews with them as well and you can see they're friends and comfortable with each other, just like Anya and Joey are comfortable together too.

Freya seems to be very reserved irl an whenever Anya tried to have some kind of interaction with her, she just kept ignored her (she's not like that with her male costar though). absolutely painful to watch.

Finished watching the series and I thought it was GREAT - though some parts confused me as someone who read the books. Some things that NEED to be done in season 3 for CERTAIN UPCOMING events to feel BELIEVABLE are the following: 1 - They need to show us CIRI practice and get a lot BETTER with the SWORD. 2 - They need VILGEFORTZ to show off his POWER as a SORCERER (he was a WIMP in season 1 - he needs to get a lot stronger somehow). 3 - If JARRE is going to have any similar storyline to what he has in the books he NEEDS to SPEND MORE TIME with CIRI. The first two are a MUST for me for future event credibility. What are your thoughts?

Very happy that Freya Allen was not in this interview. The reason being Freya is self obsessed, selfish and wants all attention to herself and never lets anyone to talk. What I still don't understand is that why they even casted Freya as Ciri, when there are much better looking Ciris available..
