@@Pezzapoo If its in your hands i know it will look awesome. You have great electronics should be great on the trail. Everyone these days thinks if its off road it has to climb a wall and if it cant its no good. I think its gonna perform well.

Congrats on the new rig. Its a cool one I had couple while back yet sold them off before I had a chance to tear into them. Personally its a good thing to upgrade to your electronics. I cant believe they sell that rig bone stock like that with a 16ch receiver. Never know what your getting I guess sometimes with the hg rigs. I wouldn't mind getting another to upgrade like your doing. I know they are heavy. Banggood has always been great with me as well. Never had a issue always shipped quickly..Im a huge fan on aggressive tires over stock form as well..

I wish they would just offer a kit or even a RTR without electronics as its a waste throwing stock stuff out all the time really. I like the weight of them too, looking forward to testing it out tomorrow m8

Motors are always a bit of a gamble. Wheel speed is more for getting out of sticky situations. Personally speaking. More than going fast. So yeah a 35T motor works well for that. BUT when you want to go slow. I find they are just a little too fast. And vise-versa for the 55/60T motors. not ENOUGH wheel speed for getting out of those sticky situations.. lol It is a great looking rig and to be honest you did everything I would do with this thing. I think if you change those foams there will be a significant difference in Capability though. I would stick with those myself.. ;) Cool rig Look forward to seeing it out on the trails

Not tried these motors before so will be interesting to see how it pulls the weight about. I have already added hair buns to the tyres instead of foams as the car was very low, still seems to have enough weight to bed the tyres in hopefully, will find out in the morning) thx Nick

You nailed it Nickster on the motor topic. These hg models are factory geared way too high. not just in the motors yet the drive lines. So to compensate for the over engineered lol you've got to drop not only motors yet gear reduction units just to get the rig where you need it at times. Then you loose that wheel speed for sure if and when you would like to have it..
