Thanks for the video, well done! and it brought me back... I'm on my trial runs (indoors) and looking forward to the onset of spring with my new P802. I purchased the truck box (801) separately and painted it to match the 802 mostly so I can convert at will. Love the idea of pulling a trailer with this beast so I'm on the look out for a suitable matches. Thanks again.

I vote hills keep sand away long as possible would be a shame to have to open all diffs for cleaning when still so new. Might have to get one? Feel like it would be a fast shelf queen

heck yea bud I got both 801and 802. got the sound kits and light kits along with a second spare kit to make the 801 into the 802 for trailers 8-) this is definitly my fav rc they are amazing!

I had it apart last night to fit the sound kit and lights. It’s very well detailed! Love engine detail and the fan 👍🏻 Now, when are they going to release the Radar station that is on the instructions!

Nice Vid. I saw some Vid's now from that Truck and maybe i get one for me. A lot saying its very Expensive, well i think the Price are normal you need to consider the Truck are 85-95% Metal and for an Traxxas Xmaxx...UDR...Vanquish crawler o so much more RC's you spend even more. I wish you a lot fun with it & excited to see more of it & a review. 😎👍

Thank you, and yes...it is expensive, but it's very well built and looks like it's going to be good fun. Some people spend $1000 on a Xmaxx, and break it after 1 run....

love HG and love this model. i was not surprised though in another video of yours you said you sold and got rid of this as it had no use. personally with this one it needs a trailer to add functionality. the other HG 803a with the tipping chasis though has much better longevity with the hobby as it can carry dirt of course and so mix in with RC diggers, tractors ect

@@TomleyRC Interested to see how those wheels attach, they look like a standard 12mm hex and some sort of beadlock rim? Do you think you'll take any of it apart to check its greased properly, or just go straight to driving?

DrBernard989 I think I’ll open the rear axle just to give a quick check. They are indeed 12mm Hex’s....hopefully strong enough for the torque this thing has! 👍🏻

Yes, I was impressed with the quality of the tools. I certainly think it needs a bit of weathering, maybe a bit of light work just to age it a bit. If I didn't have to go to work, I'd be out with it now lol.

From where did you get the light kit bag? I ordered from BG but got only the "mainboard". On my question they confirm that it does not include wires and leds. When checking other chinese suppliers, it seems to be the same situation.

When I bought mine, the pictures on Banggood also showed the lights, and it was included in the description. It seems now though, they have changed the listing. I love the Q65...even more now it's brushless! I think it may look ok on the back of the P802....although it's 1/10 scale wheelbase wise, it's closer to 1/12 width I think.

Yes, I got mine from Geekbuying. Even with high postage it was cheaper. Although Banggood did offer me a 25% discount if I reviewed it.....but sometimes it’s nice to buy a truck and have no pressure on doing a full review etc....👍🏻

Haha...well, some people are a bit quick to dislike a video. Either based on they don’t like my channel....or the video isn’t a bashing...skate park or running video. But ya know....I’m not a big fan of unboxing’s either, but I appreciate that others like to see a bit more detail, rather than just a truck driving in some dirt etc. I make the videos for my viewers, so that’s why I like to do a bit of everything. Without you guys supporting the channel.....I’d not be unboxing this monster! 😍👍

Del350K4 Honestly don’t worry about a dislike, it’s usually from someone who doesn’t even make content themselves. If I don’t like a video, I’ll just not give it a thumbs up...no need to dislike. But not everyone is like that. In fact, I read last week that KZfaq are considering removing the dislike function, as it has no bearing on how a video gets promoted etc, and can be abused by haters. I used to worry about them, but now...I rarely even take any notice. 👍🏻

Thanks, Phil - I know I shouldn´t let such things get to me. I suppose the dislike function is a little pointless - in the old days when we awarded each other stars you could see how many stars a a video had before deciding whether to click on it, so it was useful.
