I will never forget when I was 9 years old and I saw my first 1992 Viper RT/10 at Rothrock Dodge in Allentown, PA. It was bright red and I went nuts on it. Then, when I was about 19 I got the chance to drive a 3rd gen Viper while I owned a commercial cleaning company and had a contract for a local Dodge dealership and they let me take it for a spin. I also got a chance to drice a Ram SRT-10 from a different dealership. It was red, with a six speed manual, and it was their first Viper powered Ram. I pulled up in a Ford Festiva (I had four different cars back then and the Festiva was the most reliable), and as soon as I stopped the salesman saw me and said dude, I know you want to drive this Ram! That was an awesome time, and I could tell that salesman just wanted to kill his boredom, but couldn't justify driving it himself. Also, when I was 17 and I lived in Florida, I was going through chemotherapy with Hodgkin's Lymphoma and I met a guy who owned a nightclub in Ybor City in downtown Tampa, and he was so cool that he let me drive his 1998 Viper GTS. He also let me ride his brand new Ducati 1200RR while he chased me on his Kawaksaki Ninja.

Oh no, what a small world 😂. That’s my local Walmart and I know that because I seen someone who looked exactly like you in the store and I’m like “nah, can’t be, why hear this time of year?” I knew this channel was from down south, so I immediately dismissed it. Then when I was leaving I seen the viper and thought “awesome a freaking GTS in the middle of winter!” I came here today to check for new content, had the grandest realization. 😂

Well done, Caroline. It was a wonderful surprise for a wonderful dad. At least your gasoline prices are reasonable. Here in Christchurch NZ, we pay around $13.00 a gallon, and Premium is around $3.20 a liter (quart). I wish you and James many miles and smiles, and truly hope he achieves his goal of another 100,000 miles before his time is up (as he put it).

THIS. WAS. SO. EPIC! Nearly 2000 miles on a road trip in a basically untested car, and one of the greatest American sports/muscle cars ever made, all to get the truly priceless reaction from James, and get to fulfill one of his lifetime dreams, and top it all off with keeping it a surprise the whole time, absolutely amazing!

I love this video! 🥹❤ Some time ago, I wondered why James was called Dad, as I remembered one of your early videos, where both of you talked about how you met. When you (Caroline) moved into a business unit next to James with Rebels Navy. And your car back then was basically rusted to the point it almost collapsed. I always loved the dynamic between you two. And stuff like that Mad Max style video still make me smile.

I once spent a January in Zion Illinois. Being from West Texas, no thank you. About zero degrees for days..... it's no wonder them folks drink so much. I never had any kids, just wasn't in the cards. {wife/cancer/CCoA in Zion} This lets me know what I've missed. Great episode Caroline.

Wow this was amazing. I bought my Gen 2 Viper last year and it was the cheapest one I could find in Canada that wasn't a salvage title and had decent low'ish miles on it. I've been saving and wanting this car since I was in highschool when we played it on PSone OG Gran Turismo 23 years ago. Now I plan on keeping it for a very long time. It really is a special car! I couldnt afford a GTS and went with a RT/10 which BTW has AC! As soon as I can get it fixed that is. :)

My dad all while I was growing up, always wanted a Gran Torino drag car that was street legal I guess you can say a pro touring version, so when I got old enough to go to work, after I got a job the first thing I bought was a Gran Torino and I brought it home to Pop's and told him we're going to make you that pro touring Grand Torino you've always wanted, and he wouldn't let me do it because he said the car was too nice two dismantle😮

Building a 68 Charger for Power Tour. After that we are putting new interior in and fixing AC. It has a lot of cosmetic issues but, runs and drives great👍
