I ordered the parts and was ready to go then got cold feet changing out the mag release BUT dove in and have to say your video was on the money and I did it!!!!

Excellent common sense approach to breaking down weapon and replacing undersized/ill-placed release button! Really nice you never babbled about irrelevant stuff. You'd also make a damn good news reporter on ABC!

Hi Brian, on your advice I ordered the oversized mag release button, charging handle and aluminum picatinney rails from Longshot Mfg. They didn't come with any written instructions so your videos were invaluable. Thank you so much for your precise instructions and attention to detail.

I'm hoping to purchase a Hi-Point sometime this year. I would like to make modifications to it, and your videos will come in handy. Thanks for sharing the how-to videos.

Great guide! As others have said: no instructions included from Long Shot. Too bad my hand is too small to reach the bigger button. Nice upgrade though. P.s.- no need to remove grip screws...

Great, great video guys! Just thought of this...maybe wrap a rubber band around the pistol grip as a means to hold the stock together until the screws have been reinstalled.

That looked pretty easy to do. I wonder if you even have to remove the pistol grip screws as it appears they do not connect the two sides together or am I missing something?

As soon as I installed it, the magazines would fall out as I shot. I will try to titen up the screw on the button.

I'm a little late to this party, but . . . here I am! I have a question: I purchased a 9545 some years ago; never fired it - yet; however, I went and purchased a High Tower MBS 95 Bullpup Stock and made the conversion. This unit now looks amazing, and has much better handling. Have you had any experience with this conversion? I'd like to convert it to use 1911 mags, but I'm not sure if it will work with this different chassis.

Wished this video was made when I changed out my bullet button in mine a few years before this video was made. Now mine is featureless to comply with Commifornia. Only installed hi point standard button release.

After I replaced the release button the magazine will drop off after the first shot.
