Love your planter I still use a Deere 494A for sweet corn modified for liquid fertilize and updated openers it's worked great for many years but hard to beat good precision planting

Thats pretty cool! I've never seen one of them set up with liquid.

Have you seen the JD1745 planter? Liquid tank is transverse over the seed boxes and the planter will spin 90-degrees for road transport

You'll have to show me how your fert rate controller works. I'd like to be able to have it adjust automatically based on speed vs just running speed and pressure.

I'm glad u have that crome pipe on there everybody has there on opinion but I would rather have a crome pipe than a muffler

I dont like having to look around the muffler. I can see a lot better around the 4 inch pipe.

Dylan do you have essentric bushings on both sides of your closing wheel arms?

Just a regular bushing on one side and eccentric on the other.

Cool man. For 7 grand I'd expect the box to be a little fuller lol. But it doesn't take much electronics to rack up a big bill. How long about until you get to use it?

If the weather will cooperate we will start planting last week of March/ first week of April. A lot of times the dang harnesses cost as much as the consoles.

If you dont mind saying, how much was the Elite monitor. Was thinking of making the switch from a Dickey John on our spare planter to something newer. Was thinking Precision, but dont think I want to spend that much.

I cant give you a definite number on just using it as a planter monitor. We bought everything in a bundle. The harness for the planter, drill, all the components for the yield monitor and the screen was $7200. Give them a call 1-877-489-5687, they have been good to work with so far.
