Hiboy MAX Pro Unboxing And Impressions | Very Playful Scooter Under $1,000

Today my wife and I took out the Hiboy MAX Pro scooter for a test run. Here are my thoughts after hours of riding:

Pro:
- Suspension is very good for what this scooter is designed for. Plenty of power for going off or on curbs and hitting small obstacles.
- Tires are fantastic. Very smooth and take all the rough ride out of sidewalks and gravel trails.
- Range is more than most will ever need. As long as you don't spend hours going up hill there appeared to be plenty.
- Speed of 22 mph is more than enough for most people. Any more than that and you are going to endanger others on the walking paths and sidewalks.
- The wide platform feels very good and offers multiple ways to stand.
- I love how this wheel has a seat option that while mounted still allows it to fold
- The display is easy to read even in sunlight
Cons:
- I am putting torque here only because for a heavier guy a little more would really help push it up hill better. The motor has the ability to have more torque at 650w, however, as I mention I believe they did this for safety so anyone could hop on and not worry about being thrown off the back.
Thoughts:
- The weight at 51lbs is such that my wife will never be able to lift it however to remove the wight would mean lesser battery power and range as well as weaker suspension.

Great commute scooter

Underrated review. I wanted to look into the hiboy Max Pro as an upgrade from my Hiboy S2 Pro because as much as i love my S2 Pro, getting to work and back on it has been a bit sketchy. Firstly, the S2 Pro has little to no suspension, so even on semi flat grounds, you really notice how bumpy it feels to ride it. You need to ride it on perfectly flat ground in order for it to feel like a smooth ride. And Secondly, it comes to the lack of range. I cant do a round trip on it because it uses up almost all it battery to get to my job on a one way destination, so i have to charge the scooter at work just so i have enough battery to get home. So overall, i feel like the Max Pro is definitely worth the upgrade and am looking forward to investing into one for easier transportation :)

It is such a fun scooter. We use it all the time to go to town with my wife and I. It is so playful and fun. I am new to reviewing scooters so the views will hopefully go up as the KZfaq algorithm recognizes I am doing these now

How many miles do you ride to get to work? I'm planning on using the S2 pro to get to work and back and I'm looking at almost 8 and a half miles for a round trip. I know they overestimate the range numbers on scooters but I should be good for my commute right?

Haha yea. With the amount of work I put into doing these reviews. It’s hard to see the video not get much traction. But overtime as the algorithm sees more of this, it should start increasing the viewership. KZfaq is fun again now that I have some new stuff to focus on and not only Tesla reviews. It’s just such a saturated market anymore. I just don’t feel like I was adding much value, like the old days.
