There are a few salty/negative people out there, they complain about everything, but do nothing to change anything. You'll never be criticized by someone who is doing more than you. I really appreciate the advice - thank you. We were in Sydney last week and were at an event with women who are older than me and I would normally dress super covered up cos I know those situations have the potential for people to be mean but I decided to wear what I wanted. A nice, classy summer dress (it wasn't revealing at all, just a summer dress - it even had sleeves!) and I got so many dirty looks from these older women - it was the kind of thing that would bother me in the past but I just felt like... I can't change myself constantly to make others happy. I can't keep limiting myself to make people I don't even know feel comfortable anymore. This is me. I should be able to dress in a way that makes me feel beautiful without nasty looks and snide comments. It's happened to me so many times in my life - people wanting me to dress differently, speak differently, not share my sense of humour, edit myself in so many ways to fit into their comfort zone and I just can't do it anymore. Thank you for your comment. Truly. It has meant so much to me and I'm so glad I opened up in this video. The love and support is life changing for me. Phoebe x
