There is an engine in that Ford. If you look at the front wheel wells, you'll see that the gap around the tire is quite even. If there was no motor, there would be a lot more room above the tire due to no engine weight on the springs.

I’m surprised you don’t think that there’s much value in the Ford pick up truck. It looks like it is in pretty decent shape. In the US used pick up trucks, even with rust, aren’t cheap anymore.

It helps to have younger generations with you when it comes to some of those items.

As I watch this, I feel sad for the poor man who owned all these things and had a family that wasn't interested enough to come and take care of his things themselves. I see a life here, the things that made this man, and perhaps anothers, life what it was. It is wonderful that you are using some of these things to help others and I'm sure they will be very grateful to you. However, it really does make me sad that this was this mans whole life, and it has taken a complete stranger to him to sort things out and clean the place up. I would have wanted to be there, if for no other reason, to keep something of his that had meaning to him, and in the process meaning to me. This simple contents purchase may not be on the level of the Musicians house, but you'll get your money back and then some with just the vehicles alone. Add in all the tech, tools and leisure equipment and it's a decent return on your investment and work. More than anything I am glad so much of it will end up back in circulation and not dumped in landfill to rot. Well done Alex and fam :)

I love the respect you and your wife and even your children show going through this man's home. I am glad this man enjoyed life. Fishing, snow boarding, riding bikes and motorcycles. Plus he had the fun games, etc to play. So many tools. My Son would love yo go through all of them.

You said you are giving furniture to friend gor the refugees. I think that is great. You also might want to consider giving pots, pans, and dishes. Know it doesn't seem like a big thing but when I had to start over with nothing those little things turned a house to home because I could actually cook for my family and serve on something that wasn't paper plates with plastic utensils. Just a thought

I don't know if I missed it or misunderstood what happened to the person who lived in the house. I'm glad there are so many things available that you can furnish to those in need, but this person seems like they were young to have passed away and that touches my heart. Trying to help the people in our world have a better life. I really hope others will notice. And help in ways they can. My husband and I shared our love, care, family, home and friends. With 30+ foster children. On our dime not the governments. It was who God brought to us. Other than that we also volunteered endless hours. On projects big and small as well as our time. In different areas were people were needed. My husband still helps when he can. I am palliative care so I am unable to do as before. I pray God continues to bless you and your's.
