That trespassing father isn't teaching his son the right lessons. He's raising someone who won't follow rules or respect boundaries.

Dutch, turn the video over to the game warden. About a week ago I was unloading groceries at our country property when I heard a gun shot! The bullet hit one of my out buildings literally 25 feet away from me! I yelled what bleep bleep! As I listened I heard a side by side or four wheeler driving down our road that goes to the back of our property. I immediately called the sheriff. They sent two sheriff's one came in the back of our property and the other came up and knocked on the door. I have no trespassing signs everywhere and a gate at the back of our property that is closed and locked. The sheriff that came in the back of the property caught two men in the process of cleaning a buck hanging from my tree on my property at the back end. I had already told the sheriff that was on my back porch that no one has permission to be on my property much less hunting on my property! After thee investigation they had pulled at leat 4 large caliber bullets from the sheet rock walk inside one of my out buildings. If they hadn't hit the building they could've easily hit our house! The two men were charged with poaching and trespassing. And a few other charges. Don't give this person a break if they're in the middle of your property they know better period! The sheriff said that I was lucky that the bullets hit the building instead of our house. Don't take any chances period press charges if you need to for the safety of the small child in the picture! Some people do not respect anyone's property. Report them or they will keep doing what they do.

Caught a guy hunting on my Michigan land. Found his deer blind and tore it down, dragged it out, posted no tresspassing/no hunting signs in it's place. Already had signs posted all over but those were ignored. A few days later saw a truck parked on my land, walked back in a few hundred yards and saw him building a new blind. So . . . Taking my tire gage I let the air out of all four of his tires and called the game warden. Warden showed up and the guy was sitting in his truck waiting for a friend to come air up his tires. Got arrested for vandalism ( he tore a lot of the signs down) and trespassing. Truck got towed. He had a huge fine to pay. Game wardens in Michigan don't mess around. Guy never came back.

Pictures of these trespassers need to be posted in close areas that everyone frequents, with warnings. This is very dangerous. These photos can also be posted in your front property. Everyone driving by need to see this and pass the word to all neighbors. Even if you live off-road, word gets around in neighboring areas.

If you don't say anything about them poaching on your land now, what's to stop them from doing it while you and your family are out walking around on your property? Last season a poacher took a shot and almost hit Daniel and Huston while they were sitting in their blind.

Your property is your property. Anyone ignoring no trespassing signs knows full well what they're doing.

We had the same problem on our farm in N.E. GA. Even with Posted Private Property, No Hunting / No Trespassing signs posted everywhere. We still had idiots come on our farm to hunt. Dad and I caught two guys just killing anything they saw. Dad was an old Army SGT Scout and we snuck up on them and disarmed them and confiscated their weapons. Dad made them pick up everything they killed and leave the property. Then we turned their weapons over to the Sheriff. So, they would have to go to the Sheriff to reclaim their weapons. Dad and the Sheriff were hunting buddies as He and his Deputy's were always welcome to come hunt. RULE #1 You Eat What You Harvest or you will never come back. RULE # 2 Leave it like you found it, NO Trash left behind. RULE # 3 Have Fun and Adhere to all Safety Rules and Laws. BTW, the two guys never did try to reclaim their weapons from the Sheriff.. LOL ! They knew they had made a huge mistake.

My dad caught some guys hunting during deer season one time. My brother was with him so daddy sent him into town to call the game warden---before cell phones. My daddy held his gun on them until the game warden came and they got arrested!

Dutch some states have enacted formal laws establishing purple paint markings as the legal equivalent of "No Trespassing" signs on your property lines. States like Illinois, Missouri, North Carolina, and Texas and I think maybe parts of Canada. That way they cannot say they did not see a sign. Something to try to pass in your state

It's called poaching on private property, what's happened with people not understanding what a fence or a private property sign means...

Due to the high cost of fence and cameras, ive resorted to paint on the trees. Its highly visible, and it keeps lawful ppl out that may not know where the property lines are. We'll never keep the poachers/ unlawful trespassers out no matter. Unlike you though, I live a long drive away from any one of my properties, its a price i pay to not lease someone elses property to hunt. I’m always amazed how a man can get lost going to town, but put him in the middle of the woods and they know every new scratch on a tree 🤦‍♀️ exactly where every camera they have hidden 😂 and never get lost finding their trucks 🤷‍♀️ 😂🤣😂🤣💖❤️💝

I would notify the game warden, show him the pictures, he’ll keep an eye out for the trespassers.

I had that problem once and I called the game warden and he came and staked the property out and caught them.

Last night, local here a man got every bone in his face broke for exactly what you are dealing with, his property is gated, the two men jumped him on his own property, but the game warden took care of all three! I recently had someone put a tree stand on my property. I found it by looking around. It was positioned next to my creek bed. Beyond what I own is an additional 17 acres that was donated as a wildlife sanctuary. The only way someone got in was thru the sanctuary and with all the rain we’ve had it’s a swamp back there. I now have a new tree stand!! My property also wraps around to houses on another street but I know them and they don’t hunt. No name tag on the tree stand which is toooooo bad!! I made my own sign stating that I have your stand and I’m keeping it. Trespass again and I’ll show the videos you didn’t know you were making.

They need to be arrested and charged. There are rules and laws that exist and must be followed. half of what wrong with the country today is people who don't thing the rules and laws apply to them

I hope you do all you can to stop the trespassing. Last year a hunter came into my back yard rabbit hunting from the field behind my house. He even left empty shotgun shells in my yard. He didn't stay long, but he shouldn't have done it in the first place without permission. It was only about 200 feet from my house.

You should heavily post the whole perimeter of your property. We had issues with trespassers as well even though it was posted. They always knew that we were not there all the time. And they took advantage of that.

Isn’t your state a “ purple paint “ law? To stop these folks you are gonna have to post / paint the property lines.

I warned 2 guys earlier this week that we’re trying to hunt on my property. I warned them and also told them that all my property was posted no hunting no trespassing. I told them to never come back, or I will turn them in to the DNR.

Did you say Oklahoma? I live in Oklahoma. I had a blind and a steel tree stand (a nice one) towards back. My neighbors rode 4 wheelers onto my place and had one of their friends drive his truck up my driveway and back there. He was aggressive. Told me it wasn't my land. I got in his face and told him then why am I making the payments on it? Called the sheriff. He told them if anything got taken from my place they were the first ones he was going to arrest. They had tools in their hands and tried to hide them when I walked up on them. Is it posted. Put no hunting/no trespassing. Mark it with orange flags. I am so bad - I'd lay in wait and scare the "blip" out of them. 23rd is Thanksgiving. 13 days away. That was neat. Yeah - nice one. I'd mark it and need to show pics to game ranger and sheriff. Protect yourself and your friends. I wouldn't take a chance. If you don't address it, they can take that as your acknowledgement that it's ok. I had 4 wheeler trails all over my land from the guys who were going to steal blind and stand. They were running my little acreage all the time I guess. I worked all the time. Call game ranger.. They take this really seriously. They'd help you on this. They'd set up a reconnaissance and stay for a day or two. That would definitely help you out on this. Good luck. Stay safe.

I just had a thought. If the younger 2 girls have school yearbooks, try looking up the poacher boy, or ask them if they recognize him from school. They would need to not say anything go him but at least you might know who he is, to talk to the dad.

Such a nice ride thru the woods.. I miss it so much. I suggest putting posted signs along the fronts and on several places along the open trails you’ve made so there is no confusion. Parts of your property is so spread out, most probably think it’s just open woods. And the creek is the prop line. They may see the action around the bus n trailer think that area only is private.

Contact the band that owned the property on the other side of yours they will be more than open to assisting you in letting their people know to stay off your property. You could also see if maybe they want to work something out with you tune sure everybody has a plentiful Harvest improper management of the resources in the area

Sean, u need to have an orange vest on so if some hunter is up there they can see you. Plus carry your gun as there are black bears in OK, coyettes, wild dogs, etc.

I caught a trespassing poacher on my property. The game warden fined him and the deputy formally trespassed him. The following hunting season, he stepped onto a bear trap and fractured his leg, and he tried to sue me. His civil lawsuit was thrown out of court. Word has gotten around that I have traps on my property. Hopefully, the trespasser issue has ended. But I have a backhoe, and there's no cellular service anywhere on my property. The HOA doesn't allow me to have pigs. Otherwise, trespassers would be pig food.

That's a dangerous situation for both parties. They could shoot one of you if they don't see you. So that has to stop. I would report it so at least you will have a record if god forbid anything happens. And of course if you can find them give them a warning. Blessings..❤

I have heard that you can get some spray paint in PURPLE and spray it on the trees at the edge of your property. This tells hunters that the land is private. Hope this helps keep trespassers off your land.

Post pictures of them next to your NO TRESSPASSING signs also add ENTER AT YOUR OWN RISK signs with skull and crossbones. Put up more cameras by those. It may protect you and protect them. My guess is they've been hunting there for years and aren't aware of new owners.

I use the anchors that Academy sales. There 18 inches long by 1/2 or 3/8 inches wide. It won’t blow away with them.

Call the game warden

Get some purple paint and mark your property with that also. In some states purple paint means you can be shot on site.

If you know you have trespassers PLEASE wear orange while out in the woods. Be careful Dutch !

Walk all the property lines and put signs up. They could be coming in from the back and not know they are trespassing if there's no signs or a fence

Buy lock boxes for your cameras, you get trespassers that'll just steal your camera too. Had that happen to me in the U.P. of Michigan on private land
