New tournament idea, after the comment at about 1:33 in the video: Every player who goes on keeps ressources (and army?) they had by the end of the previous game. And possibly they can't change their civilization. Settings could possibly be regicide. In order to spice things up even more, instead of kings the players might be allowed to choose a hero from their civilization.

Man, I have been sleeping, I am 5 months late to HC, which is one of my favourite tournaments across any game I like to watch. The closest thing is probably a small AI-only tournament for Forts, just because AI doing man-made strategies is ridiculous. Well The players here have near AI levels of control over their units as well. I am excited for the rest of the matches.

I think Vasco could be Viper/ Lierry/ Hera. Not certain though & probably Pachacuti could be someone who has not been recently active or not been in high level tourneys that much.

Does anyone else have audio issues with the video? Random pops and noises etc? Around 6 minute mark and 12 minute mark for example has audio artifacts that is really obvious for me with a headphone. 18:45 mark as well.

There were some sound issues today; on the livestream too. I believe they made some tweaks because it was already much better in the 2nd set

Judging by the way Avasco plays, there is a good chance this is actually Hera. Might also be Viper, but his overall clean straightforward gameplay makes me think more of Hera.

T90 have you considered adding on extra time at the end of the video so the remaining time doesn’t spoil the winner? Ex: Vasco was up 3-1 in a Bo7 and the time remaining in the video was only a few min, so I knew he was going to win 4-1 based on that. Just a thought

The normal answer to why games don't normally have that dead space at the end is the metrics of no-one watching craters the video because the algorithm doesn't like it. It's a shame.

Is it anyhow possible to synchronize recording with commentary? I was watching live and it was terrible :( sometimes t90 speaks about something that was on screen few seconds ago, in the next match it was the other way around :(

@@deutscher1a yea, so those two obviously aren't synchronized as t90 is talking about something that we are not able to see, I can't remember this from past hidden cups.. maybe it isn't possible with this caster-supporter system, but it kind of ruins it :( (things like excited shout "look at it!" when nothing interesting is on screen are just bad imho)

not sure if this was the best match to open the tourney with, unfortunately. Don't see how you could have helped it - no one knows who anyone is - but it was such a one-sided match that it wasn't really fun to watch. just my 2 cents. Anyways, the commentary was good, even if the matchup wasn't. t90 is funny and likable

Production is really good! Suggestion - is it possible to make the videos a set length, and leave a black screen at the end? That way we don't know when the last game is starting, and who is going to win. I.e. each video is 4 hours. For this video as soon as blue was 2-0 up i knew he was going to win the series because of the length of the video.

It wasn't a 4-0 atleast, and when ur doing a tourney with the top 16 where the top few are so far ahead of the bottom few you're always going to ger lopsided matchups. Either way, it was only the first match bro don't start complaining already😂
