I'd like to humbly disagree. 1000 vacancies me se only hardly 50 get ias , and sabko ye upar video me mentioned facilities nahi milti and it heavily depends on how your ties are with the govt. kabhi bhi govt revoke and transfer karwa degi if you don't work according to their needs ( personal security , big houses not there in every cadre). Rahi baat respect ki , to some extent it is there. But end mein Paisa hi bolta h. God forbid , pr jab kisi k family me kisi ko koi emergency ho , respect nhi money hi kaam aati h. End of the day , money talks. which is probably also the reason why Gaurav sir ne khud naukri chod di . Also other prominet ias officers (tanu jain etc)

Sir, as far as i know, ias and ifs officers get 2 increments on basic pay right from day 1,which makes the basic close to 63000

1) People aspiring to be ias should start early so that they can fail fast and learn . 2) currently average age of people who clear ias exam is 27 whereas people in. Corporate starts at 22 so by the time they reach 27-29 they are already earning in lakhs . 3) with age limit upto 32 for general category . Students should use this as a fallback medium not the goal of clearing it till the age of 32. 4) create a backup plan, i have seen many students wasting time energy respect while preparing for these exams 5) after the age of 25,26 it will become really hard to stay in your home , colony if you are not doing anything with life 6) preparing for ias exam will not get you respect it will only be good to deviate the question. You'll still be seen as an unemployed berozgar person . That's the reality. 7) IAS is really prestigious and rewarding please make use of this position really carefully. And don't do it just for the sake of these perks, if perks are your go to motivation then being in corporate will give you all above, let me explain. ------- corporate life---- 1) By the age of 27-29 avg person in IT starts earning in hand more than 1 lakh per month. ✅ 2) in India at least we all have maids , cook ✅ 3) We all have our own cars 🚗✅ We don't need drivers we can drive 😇 4) acres of house is something we don't have but yes 3 bhk in good society great amenities like pool , guard, electricians, plumber , massage is something we have really easily. 5) WLB after spending 1-2 years in industry really balance out and tbh we only do real work 2-4 hours a day max . Now with wfh it's really great and even better 😇 6) coming to the main accusation for private sector job SECURITY 🤣🤣. THIS also is just a scare tactics of X people to move away people from service industry . So security wise as long as you have skills you will get new job withi 1-2 months. 7) healthcare , ppf , cab facility, meal card monthly around 2-3 k , utility bill, in COVID times company was also giving internet bills reimbursed., Table chair wfh setup, We all get cab facility 8) 30+ leave in a year . Weekends off + sick leave + last two months goes really easy and smooth as most of the people are on leave

My perspective... I am confused... Yes IAS gets a better package overall but a person earning in 30- 40 lakhs and above in corporate is living a very stable life(he does not have to constantly shift to different locations) has more work life balance... They have Sat Sunday weekoff and paid vacation, festival off... Mental peace...And IAS has to sacrifice all this for respect...Meanwhile both will hate their own job at some point....

I honestly like the idea of helping people out and esp strays but idk the politics thing kinda keeps me away. I can't imagine going through turmoils etc due to corrupt people. At times I feel that one will have to go into the system in order to change it but still I wish there weren't that much political pressures and all those shadiyantras and transfers :')

But these facilities like bungalow, car, manforce etc are just temporary things. These aren't owned by IAS themselves. These things aren't IAS's personal property. Based on the postings or promotions or transfer or deputation, these facilities of IAS are gone. So these facilities are given just for a limited time period. How can we say these things are owned by IAS?

Sir You're really very good by nature.

All the mentioned facilities are given in case of field posting only, NOT in central postings. If "BUNGLAW" is given, then HRA is deducted. If "Gaadi" is given, TA will be deducted. "Petrol" is given upto a certain limit. Also Rs 15000 will be deducted from Salary, if you want to use that "gaadi" for personal use. That "Bunglaw" is mostly given in Village/Kasbas kind of Area where there is no Swiggy/Zomato etc (my PCS friend told me). The "rent" value of that "bunglaw" must be at max 60k, given the old condition of this (depends upon state and cities also). So yes, if your friend is earning around 40 to 50lpa+ then yes, He/She is in a better position of luxury and comfortability than you being a govt servant. As he don't have to get transfers, don't have to deal with politicians, don't have to work 24*7 during field postings, No life threats etc. And if you want to earn illegal income, then get ready for "Jail", as Central Vigilance (CVC) is on hunt for corrupt officers.
