Ifs has no choice of posting .you can be post in African countries (lie Yemen,) or in middle Asia with lots of security threat ☹️

@@greaves9021 IFS does have a choice of posting. You get a whole list of countries to fill out on. And if you don't wish to go to a particular nation you won't be forced to except for the cases where no other option is left. And usually many IFS officers opt for these places volunteerrly. (P.S. this ain't me speaking this is itself told by many IFS officers 😅)

So the main thing is if you only want to be a civil servant because of its sparks and facilities then you should reconsider your thoughts. There are challenges in every civil service. If you just dream about bunglow & cars & other comforts then this job is not for you. Only aspire to be an IAS OFFICER or a IFS OFFICER if you are passionate about that service. Thank you very much for this video. I really loved it.

TF with passion , whoever say they are doing it for the good of society are all lying just give me an example where they do any good for the people. In India a government job is considered a stable job because my grandparent used to be one and they get pension and benefits and from this all people believe that having a government job means job security and social status. Government is earning a lot of money, they charge way too much tax in petrol and gas and earn a lot of money through all type of taxes and then just give you a government job and make you their dog and whenever you try to really bring a change they just suspend you or change your cadre. Everyone wants their good , they don't care what happens to people.

I love IFS because in this service you get a chance to represent your nation at international level..and there is less or no political interference in your work....which is a peaceful thing..i dont like being commanded by an MLA/MP or any politician who is corrupt and even not enough educated to understand the problem rationally and with reasoning.. and along with these things.. i also like the perks an IFS get..

To be honest I am the couch potato in my family, sometimes I think this service is not even fit for me. Maybe never but the situation in my tribal areas indulge me somehow to be part of this service to create a better life for the community. If anyone joins a civil service he should be less concerned about salary. However I am sure that any bureaucrat earns well enough to have a decent life, decent vacation and a comfortable retirement. Medical facilities, job security and several other facilities are quite respectable. I know it because my father is a government engineer and we are comfortable very much

@@himanshuchuchra5357 aisa actually nahi hota. Kitne IFS officers actually choose krte hai kinda similar to Indian Army and defence force ke officers ki trah. I feel jisko actual mai sirf paise ya ghumne ke motivation ke alawa bhi apni country ke liye kuch karne ka jazba hoga vo log to choose krenge hi.
