My odin does this fine without messing with dpi settings. Go to the multitask view via the square nav button or gesture. Hit the app icon on the top of the screen and the option to split the screen should be available there.

Yeah but it doesn't work properly I tested that a month ago and the apps don't resize properly.

I have a Samsung phone that can do split screen. But the screen is to small to really do to much. However, the Oden screen looks big enough to multi-task.

Yeah some might want to utilize this only for connecting to a TV perhaps mind you there's no Audio Re-Routing option to hear one or the other. The only option is to turn off the audio of your game and watch the movie or KZfaq on the other side lol.

I agree there's a few other features that I actually found the Retroid Pocket 4 Pro and Anbernic RG556 have the Odin 2 doesn't utilize.

Why they didn't have front / Back cameras... split screens capability...🧐 Have different mode for the RGB LIghts... breathing mode...random mode... 🧐

Breathing mode for RGB is definitely possible someone developed an app for this, cameras not really needed on a gaming handheld but yet again Nintendo 3DS and PS Vitas utilized this very well lol. Split screen, proper HDMI Output via display port, and audio chooser when outputting the display would be great. They just need to work on the OS more hopefully that's what they do the remainder of the year after the Mini ships.

@@DNAMobileGaming I see your point... But the CPU that runs everything in the system supports those utilities .. If you look at the default apps...we have gallery...for pictures... Same similar opportunity Nintendo didn't implement on the Switch OLED... with it having the MS. surface Pro wide KickStand on the back...they could introduce a stylus for drawing games or apps for the user... No cameras also...but the Switch does have a gallery for pictures... That's is a reason I am looking at the Lenovo legion tab Y700 2023 ... 8.8 inch gaming tablet...it sport Snapdragon 8 gen 1... Dual Usb-C's...12gb ram /256gb internal storage Or 16gb ram / 512gb internal storage... micro-Sd Card slot... Stylus support too... only available on AliExpress...for the time being...there should be a global version soon... For good gaming on a 8.8in Android tablet + GameSir G8...or X2- S...or Keishi Ultra controller... 🧐😎... besides just the Tablet+ case or keyboard for some leisure KZfaq or movie time...

Yeah it's not the best method currently I just wanted to make this feature known. The default split screen works okay but not perfect so I shared this.

Yeah I've asked for this too, there's an app that utilizes this btw on Google Play. I used to use it in the past and it didn't eat my battery or anything.

Right the device is so powerful that I can just play on one side and watch movies or whatever on the other. This could be good ER on the big screen with a Bluetooth controller 😎

Nice! It’s awesome how you find those things. I love the Odin 2,the only thing I have a problem with is the D-pad. If it had a D-pad like the PS Controllers it would be Amazing. I did send a Email to AYN about some things to consider in the Future like the Ergonomics on the Anbernic RG556 and the D-pad. Maybe am the only one who think like that.🙃

I personally love their ergonomics and buttons. That aside I've recently found a few features and settings the Odin 2 doesn't utilize properly a video is coming next week about this too.
