idk if this video is interesting but I am uploading it anyway. I travel around the map just exploring the sounds of the game. I got this idea because I have to turn off my music to make my videos, and discovered some interesting sounds while doing so.. so i made a video about it.
I didn't include all the areas such as Roxy Raceway because a lot sound the same and don't really have anything interesting to it. So if something isn't here chances are it wasn't that cool.

Honestly, these videos shows that Steel Wool put all their heart and soul into making models, making the Pizzaplex, making the soundtrack, and even making the ambience and adding details in the game none of us actually started noticing until like NOW This shows that Steel Wool put A LOT MORE effort into these parts of the game than the actual gameplay, AI, and story *But I will say, the Burntrap/Mimic laughter and noises in the Burntrap ending was genuinely creepy*

I am pretty sure SW just assigned responsibilities wrong and kept building on the location, instead of saying "enough of location, let's work on gameplay more" They got that idea only 7 months before release, which resulted in many aspects of the old story cut and many locations cut. + it turned out that loading times didn't work as intended and some of the things didn't fit the new story, so they had to place elevators intead of just halls, had to close many doors, put walls here and there.

Did you know? The pizzaplex requires so much power to run that it is actually cost-effective to leave almost everything on at night. It would take far more power to boot everything up every morning. A lot of very large malls, amusement parks, resorts, ect don't turn everything off at night, just like the pizzaplex. A great example of this is Disney. While many of the rides are mostly turned off (more like put to sleep) lots of other stuff is left on, including the ambient music in each area. This is likely why River Country, an old subsection of Disneyworld closed after a brain-eating amoeba infected a few guests (because the main swimming area of River Country was connected directly to the surrounding lake, leaving guests to swim in untreated water), still played its ambient music and lights were on in there many, many years after it was perminently closed. Its interesting to watch old urban exploring videos of people who dared to go in there and hearing the creepy banjo music everywhere, even late at night. They've mostly demolished the place now though to make room for new plans.

@shumanakazawa not as much as booting everything up would. When you try to turn on many things at once, it will likely create a power surge, which is not only costly bill-wise, but also could short-circuit the entire building. Think about when you trip a fuse by plugging in too many things or turning too many things on all at once in your house. Turning everything on one at a time is another issue. It avoids a surge, but the amount of time it would take to slowly turn everything on would cut into operation hours, driving down valuable profit. Electric bills can be expensive, but no bills can be paid if you aren't making enough money. I would also like to add; Think about how much earlier staff would have to start working in order to turn everything on. If the Pizzaplex closes at 11pm and opens at 6am, that's only 7 non-operational hours. To get everything turned on after being turned off at 11pm, it will take a couple hours, since the process must be gradual to avoid surges. So if they start much earlier in the morning in order to make it in time for the existing operational hours, this is only a rough guess but they'd likely need to start at least 3 hours early. That leaves 4 non-operational hours with everything turned off. 4 hours is chump change compared to the effort of turning off and turning on everything. It's so much easier to leave it all on.

@jbiehlable true that, though I assume they'd have to keep the charging stations on for the animatronics. Unless they shut them off too, which would feel kinda grim and wrong considering how much sentience they have. That's almost like knocking someone out or chlorophorming them, and then they stay unconscious until you allow them to wake up. I *DON'T* like it.

@jbiehlable It would also be a major set back for Vanny. The Entirety of the PizzaPlex is engulfed in darkness, even some of the posters and signs lose power. Roxanne, Monty, Chica and the staff bots lose power immediately…making them unable to continue the hunt for Gregory. Oh, even Freddy loses power as well as Gregory’s Fazwatch, this is huge setback for Gregory and Vanny. Vanny because she has lost complete control of the main network and how is going to find Gregory in complete darkness? Gregory because Freddy and the fazwatch has lost power. What is he going to do in complete darkness?

@@Xornys6138 well by that logic why is anything on at all? Many say they keep the lights on in such because of prevention of theft but if they have the shutter shut how are they going to break in? The reason that most things are actually just kept all of his simply by the fact that for big companies it's actually cheaper to just keep things constantly running rather than turning everything off and then having a huge power surge to turn it all back on even if they did it in different segments- Hope that makes sense^-^

The first time playing the game was amazing for me, everything was new and fresh, so much to see and hear, I can't wait to see the new dlc that's coming this month

I’ve started playing through with the music off and really am surprised the different atmosphere the game gives off. You really feel more isolated and trapped in the building.

I feel like the reason Security Breach is like it is, is because Steel Wool had too much fun with the location. The Pizzaplex clearly has a lot of love and care in it. There are so many details you wont notice even with your second or third playthrough (sometimes, you just need to fly through the map in debug mode to see everything). It is fun to see and honestly an awesome location. The most fleshed out in all of FNaF history. The characters themselves are fun too and all have interesting abd lovable personalities (there's a reason so much fancontent came up). However, they kinda neglected the story and AI in favour of the world and characters.

Also this A-minor tune that plays during the locker rooms and Prize Counter, if you visit the other area later on the music will likely continue into other rooms like Gator Golf or the Daycare

I might just start playing without the music on- I already play with the brightness pretty low. I'm trying to imitate an actual closed mall place, where everything is dark and eerie. This will definitely help! :D

Yeah- The sfx and background music is great but the glitches, lags and the storyline caused the game to be really hated and many fans disappointed. I hope they actually took their time to test and fix these mistakes in Ruin so the gameplay can be more enjoyable and not so laggy

People overlook it probably because it isn't scary. Honestly Fnaf games weren't always scary. Fnaf 2 and UCN are mostly panicking, Fnaf 3 is tension, Fnaf 4 and SL are mysterious and build up tension. Fnaf 6 isn't really scary at all, mostly mysterious during each shift, but it's good for the lore. Fnaf 1 is not that easy to describe though.

This game has a lot of issues, scrapped content and missed opportunities but the team truly delivered with the Pizza Plex. So many tiny details that get overlooked and I honestly think a lot of these ambient sounds get drowned out by the music. I swear I've never heard half of these sounds...but then again I never played with headphones so maybe that was it. Regardless, I'm going to try a No-Music playthrough next time I go through SB...may or may not turn it back on for DJMM. lol

The only reasons people hate, resent or dislike Security Breach is because production was rushed for the Christmas headline, it's very fuzzy (and most likely retconned) when it comes to the lore, and it's contreversial due to being the first ever 3D, open-world FNAF installment. Which I can understand with or even agree on to some extent, but I think it's a good game, but now we're having to strip back iconic parts of the game like music to show most of you that is? I'm sick of how ungrateful and ignorant FNAF dans are these days...

almost sounds like Freddy Krueger in a way. if Burntrap was Mimic how did it know William in the first place? perhaps Edwin Murray of the Mimic was possible killer. I can see why due to his son being killed and the Mimics creator decide to mimic the same actions into destroying things, I wonder if in the next game we will destroy Blob or see the return of William.

The reason that the daycare theater basement has water noises is because the cut boiler room was somewhere on the same floor there is existing but unused Freddy dialog that talks about a scraped boiler room mission. There is also an out of bounds garage door underneath the daycare showing where it was originally going to be unfortunately the utility tunnels were completely cut from the game on the right half of the building. Hopefully we get to see these cut areas in ruin

If they had these sounds without any of the music in the actual game, it could have made it a lot scarier. Since in the OG Fnaf games, sound ambience like this is what really enhanced the horror. Plus, it could be so much more of a jump scare if you’re just in silence like this, but then all of a sudden the staff bot pops out at you. Since in the base game, it usually gets drowned out by how much stuff is going on all at once.

I love how detailed the pizzaplex is. I go back on the game here and there and just walk around the pizzaplex, just to see it and feel the vibes it gives off.

Man this is honestly just amazing on how Steel Wool Studios made the ambience. They put so much detail into it and into the game itself obviously. Even if SB doesn’t give off much horror, the ambience sure does.

My headcanon is that when DJMM is not in use, instead of being shut down and booted up again every time he's needed, they put him into a sleep mode. While in sleep mode, he's using very little power and will not be preforming in any way. However, since he's often left unsued during many parts of the day, they decided to give him an idle "sleeping" animation so he doesn't appear dead or lifeless to the kids if he's seen at any point. :D

I feel like this game would have more quality if they had just spaced out the music more and allowed the ambience to come to the surface more. Don't get me wrong, I love the music, but I learned from this video that I prefer the background ambience for this game's tone.
