7:21 you would think that, but there are actauly weapons irl that are designed like that for the sake of shooting around corners. In WW2 for instance the Germans developed a STG44 with a 45 degree bend in the barrel so they could safely fire at people hiding around cover.

So, fun thing about the shotgun at 7:15 is that the germans tried something similar in WW2. They wanted a way to fire around corners, so they just...bent the barrels of their StG-44s. Amazingly, they actually kind of worked.

Infernos video of the mod is truly a preview, there is so much more when you play through that just makes it so much better.

16:00 Omg that Low pitch sound that grunt just gave off! because how hard he got knocked away. Halo CE has what's called Doppler effect for example 17:06 that grunt got Knocked away and his death sound was low pitched and same thing the other way around if a grunt gets blown up and fly by towards you his sounds will be high pitched and this effects everybody in CE. This is especially noticeable with sputnik skull. Note unironicly the Doppler effect was missing with downgraded textures version of gearbox software port of CE on PC and this version was also used for CE Anniversary and CE on MCC thankful the Doppler effect was brought back with session 8 or later updates on MCC. Btw amazing this was HiddenXperia.😂🤣👌👏

I know it hasn’t gone up yet, but the mod does include one particular QoL update that will be coming up in Truth and Reconciliation and just makes it factually better than vanilla: better checkpoints. For context, last year Inferno took part in what’s so far been an annual Cursed Halo charity race (led by the man responsible for all of Cursed Halo Johnson and Keyes’s new lines, Homyk the Vocal Butcher) where they debuted what would become Cursed Halo 2.0. There were various incentives that could mess racers up (or help one or several others if you want to look at things that way). Now the Gulch section of Truth and Reconciliation has always been notorious for having really bad checkpointing, but combine that with Cursed Halo 2.0 and those incentives, and Inferno had a pretty miserable time going through it and getting sent back to the start of the level. So yeah, he made the checkpointing better to remedy that. Don’t know if that’s the exact reasoning, but I like to think that’s why. 12:16 Lag sniper’s really good in places like the Maw with a lot of long narrow hallways. If you know an enemy’s coming down you can set up a bunch of shots and back away, and they’ll probably get killed trying to chase you down. 16:28 Best way to deal with the MC shield Jackals is to use your karate on them per Inferno’s own words during the Cursed Halo Again announcement video. Don’t let them get behind you though because a hit from behind is instant death for you.

You can actually get away with some pretty extreme barrel bends, unless you’re using super large rifle calibers. Matt at Demolition Ranch had a few videos on the subject, and you can almost bend the barrel back enough to headshot yourself from the hip and get a couple rounds through before a critical failure.

Future series suggestion: Play Minecraft on survival, but you have to make a Halo themed base.
