if I understood correctly, the tipper truck tows a trailer with second container full of material to the site, unhitches trailer, then tips its own load. It then goes back to its trailer, and winches the second container onto its the tipper body, so it can then tip that. I have never seen this process in the UK, so it would be great if in a future video you could show this happening. Thanks for the great work and the filming and editing 👍

There are plenty of videos about this. If you search "kasetointi", it's a Finnish word, you can find several videos of this process. It's very common in Finland and Sweden. I've always wondered why it seems like the rest of the world is slacking behind with these awesome innovations, for instance tiltrotators. Cheers!

Yes, you are correct. The box on the trailer run on a rail-like system, the trailer box can therefor slide into the box on the truck. It's then locked and tipped with the truck. Known as a "cassette" style system. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/iN9dndp_39jDgas.html Here is a video showing the process. Very common in Finland and Sweden, where the total truck and trailer weight are legally allowed to exceed 60 or 70 ton, depending a bit on number of axles and total length of the vehicle combination.

That’s a lot of material, a gross vehicle weight of 60-70 tonnes is quite something! I will watch the video link of the cassette type truck after watching this video. I bet the truck driver feels like Kimi Raikkonen or Valtteri Bottas once the sand has been unloaded 😂

Love the video per usual! I would LOVE if you took a moment to include the how you preset in Trimble the grade you decide is top of sand! I want to learn more of those processes in addition to the smooth operator skills!! Same would go for any video on any job where you are working without a 3D model and just making your own as you go! Thanks!

That is a smart system, were you can drag the container from trailer and over to the truck. Aspessly were there are narrow, or not possible to come in with the set.

We can't compact over 12" at a time. Engineer's prefer 6-8" per layer... Good luck finding people with that much patience!!

Very Nice and interesting. Thank you very much for uploading this to us, it’s extremely helpful for me. So apparently if you have thickness 20cm over the fabric, you can roll on it with the machine at no fear. But I’ve been told 20cm is the maximum allowable thickness for material layer to be compressed. Maybe it’s a bit thick for this small compactor to effectively obtain good compaction ?

thank you. I'm not afraid to drive on top of a 20cm layer. this copactor is 400kg. I have been taught that 40cm thickness is the maximum for this compactor. in winter the layers must be even smaller. 👍👍

Those trailer systems aren't entirely uncommon on roll-off container trucks near me, but heavy tonnage of materials are usually just delivered by dump trailers or large tri-axel dump trucks

When using Trimble 2 questions. 1 can you insert a level plane even that the machine is not at level? 2 can you set it to shovel can’t go below that plane? Is so that’s a nice feature for a task like this

thanks for the questions. I will try to make a video about trimble as soon as possible. the answer to your questions is: trimble only shows numbers, there are no limits to prevent the bucket from going below the level. the machine has a position sensor and the boom has many sensors that work together. trimble can take into account the slope of the machine👍😃 maybe I'm writing badly, a video about trimble makes it easier to understand the operation.

Amerikanvideoissa näkyy niitä sorajunia missä kärryn aisa on hävyttömän pitkä, niin pystyy nupin kippaamaan peruutamalla kärryn linkkuun. kärryssä oma kippi.

juu ollaan mekin tehty sillä tavalla sillonkun leikkausjohjan korko on maltillisempi. on kalliimpaa täyttää kapilaarisepelillä isoa täyttöä. yleensä riittää kapilaaria 30cm kerros joten täytin hiekalla ensin ja päälle kapilaari.

trimble on kone ohjausjärjestelmä, niin sanottu 3d-laite. siihen saa näkymään paljon eri tietoja kuten työmaasuunnitelmia yms. kauha näkyy reaaliajassa ja realikokoisena kartalla. minä teen videon aiheesta heti kun on semmonen hyvä tilanne 👍👍

minä en tiedä tämän hetken hintaa tarkalleen. mutta semmonen näppituntuma on että 10 alapuolella(€/tonni) vielä ollaan mutta minäpä varmistan asian. ja tonnitaksalla se meilläpäin myydään👍👍
