SPOILERS!!! So let me see if I've got this straight: Woman talks man into space mission involving slingshotting around black holes to go really fast because Higgs Bosons, and it's the most important space mission ever because God. So far? K. So man does mission and has flashbacks because remembering stuff. Then he's in a bigger Universe as a dust particle like 'Horton Hears a Who' while a groovy song plays. The end. Now that we're clear on that, HOW was he supposed to communicate back to Earth that he found the way to be small? The whole point of this mission was to find out if God has big flowers (he does), but since this guy has no way to transmit that info back to Earth, his big flower show stays with him - he's in a Big God Universe now. That's not a good return on investment. Also, it seems an unmanned probe could have just as easily done this mission without the need for a human and human sustaining supplies, even if he's only going one way. Just curious... :)

This was great, I'm glad see South African Filmmakers taking on projects like this and not afraid to dream, sci fi is no easy genre when you have a limited budget and this shows that when you can dream it, you can do it, well done to all the actors and crew... never stop.. keep pushing, keep telling stories..

I hope that this wins some awards because it is certainly deserving. Thank you for sharing it with the world.

Well done! The elusive Higgs "Field" is a modern day equivalent of the ether in days of old. We don't REALLY know that such a field actually exist so this was a great interpretation.

It was said that when scientists finally figured out the mass of the Higgs-Bosun, just knowing it would destroy our world because of some paradox or other that escapes me at the moment. Now, I have no clue how slingshotting off a black hole can help you discover God (the H-B is also called the “God particle”) or what this has to do with quantum physics, but it all sounds arcane enough that somebody decided to make a movie about it. It doesn’t have to make sense.

Well I have to give you thumbs up for making the film. Way beyond my ability, but I didn't get anything from it. I can't see how it can benefit us to send a man out to the edge of the universe if he can't come back , UNLESS he is able to send all the data back to us? Was he?

@5:30 "Just.....think about it." Very emotive and engaging up to this line. Thoughtful and intriguing.......then this line dropped it all flat. You've anticipated an intelligent audience.....how could the protagonist (us) not think about it? May seem like a spurious point, but great skill went into building that scene.

Ms. Pearce as an army recruiter: "If you go die heroically, your name will be the answer to every question about the greatness of our nation." Now, I know someone is going to object to this, but I was thinking when she was trying to convince him to go and that he would never come back, that he would die in the name of science, that she was just like a military commander telling his soldiers to attack knowing that by doing so, they would die in the name of nationalism, patriotism, whatever. There was something just wrong about that part of the movie which I otherwise enjoyed.

Humanoid beings do not require mechanical crafts or mean's to transport or experience this, Yes it will require a process in space-time to avail a being of the facts and become fully aware and free as a being not a material body and universe from the effects of this material universe or any other material universe. The fact is Beings, Spirits, Souls Etc... are unto themselves God" if you will" trapped in a material-created cage !

The only thing I don't understand is who was the little boy with his father at the table?

So, is that tiny white dot at the end supposed to be his vessel drifting by? Was it shrunk down to a dot or is the surrounding vegetation super huge? Several comments seem to indicate that some see this as worlds within worlds. Thing is that doesn't really work since atoms are nothing like planetary systems. Electrons don't simply orbit the nucleus like planets around the sun. Nor are the planetary systems in our universe, just "atoms" in a much larger body of something else. The comparison isn't valid because the analogy quickly breaks down. For instance, the earth isn't just a spec of dust drifting in a much larger something like the Who's in Whoville. When dust particles collide they just bounce off each other. Unlike the collision of planets. And what has it all to do with the Higgs anything? To me this work, while quite good, comes down to a story with yet another "left to the imagination" ending. Something way overused. Something of which I'm pretty tired.

Very very well done! Better, more interesting and more poignant than some multimillion dollar productions. I'm not entirely sure I really understood everything, but that's true of the whole subject. I admire people, like you, who put so much energy and heart and soul into a project like this that will almost certainly never be commercially successful. I also like the actors and especially the music chosen for this film. Continued success and best wishes from Germany.
