Great video. My Bi Xenon light on the left has broken. I have dynamic curve lights, too and that won't work now, too. Could I use the Phillips halogens or does this won't work? And why are the Phillips brighter than the night breaker? 😕

I really don't know what to tell you, but I would strongly recommend you to switch to the HIKARI 2023 Titanova LEDs. I'm sure you can find adaptors for your DxS fitting to H4. It' how the camera recorded them. The CBI Next Gen are really dim, especially on rain, but with my camera on auto settings they looked way better than in reality. After that I start to use the manual settings and adjusted the recording to be as close to reality as possible. Also you can see the light meter measurements and the CBI Next Gen at the bottom of the chart.

Please look at the light meter tests also. They are actually really dim and bad on rain. It's just how the camera recorded them on auto settings back then. Now I start to use the manual settings for a accurate representation of the light brightness. Personally I wouldn't spend my money on them. They are not white and have nothing to do with 5000K.

@@m3rovingian it’s actually xenons I need - my Touareg 2011 has factory xenons with levelling and the washers. But the OSRAM next gen are available in xenon. What do you think? I ended up buying some LedPerf xenons 6000k because they were low cost and seem to get good reviews. I decided they’d at least be better than my stock xenons which after 12 years of life are quite yellow and dull.

@@gonnahavemesomefun Well if you already bought them I wish you to have thema s mucha s possible and be pleased with the light they offer. SInce they are xenon they must be very powerful. Just try to replace them a bit faster than 12 years :) Like after 4 years you should consider a new pair. They get dim over time also, just like any halogen or LED.

LUXSTER 2024 Punisher LED. They are amazing for the money. If you want halogens, you will get a lesser visibility and yellowish light. Still for those I'd get Philips RacignVision GT200.

No, but I can assure you they are not extraordinary. Especially now when you can get a better quality halogen from OSRAM, the Night Breaker 200 even on H11 fog lamps.

Salutare! am si eu un golf 6, i-am schimbat becurile pt faza scurta H7 cu philips white vision de care sunt multumit; acum, as vrea sa schimb si becurile pt faza lunga H15 (am gasit in comert doar osram cool blue intense) si proiectoare HB4 (am gasit in comert Philips Vision 55W HB4). Te rog un feedback pt cele 2 modele. Inteleg ca pt proiectoare se recomanda o lumina galbena, insa nu stiu cat de galbena e lumina becului pe care l-am gasit. Toate cele bune!

Salut. daca tot vrei sa le schimbi iti recomand pe H15 sa iei versiunea nou lansata de Osram Cool Blue Intense Next Gen. Pe soclul tau vad ca au pana la 3700K ce ar trebui sa fie mai biner decat pe H7 unde au pana la 5000K in teorie insa in practica sunt rele pe ploaie. Daca tot vrei sa le schimbi cu unele mai reci macar ia ultima versiune. Thank you. The most powerful I tested is Osram Night Breaker 200, but a better alternative for the money is Philips RacingVision GT200. They are cheaper and have a better build quality. On the road you will not be able to see a difference, aside from Osram having a bit of warmer light.

@@CompuTechish In my country Philips GT200 are 119lei and Osram NB200 155lei for a set of H7. The extra price increase is not worth for Osram. They still are below the build quality of Philips, even if they shine brighter. In real life conditions on the road you can't tell them apart. I tried only Gigalight+120 from Bosch.

My Benz W211 has low beam with projector and high beam with reflector, both H7s. After seeing your great videos, I was thinking of mounting Philips White vision on the low beam and RacingVision GT200 on the high beam. What do you think about this combo?

@@Flankerski Aia-i problema ca nu sunt WhiteVision 3700K, ci iti vor trimite WhiteVision Ultra 4200K, care-s slabe pe ploaie si sunt alte becuri. Poti sa-i suni si sa-i intrebi si o sa vezi ca asa e. Sa nu te lasi mintit, spunandu-ti ca sunt noua generatie de WhiteVision, fiindca n-au nicio legatura cu becurile alea, in afara de numele lor, care te induce in eroare. La noi in tara nu mai sunt pe stoc de ceva ani. Ia RacingViison GT200. Astea sunt cele mai bune halogene acum ca nu se mai fabrica WhiteVision 3700K.

Pe H1 daca mai ai norocul sa le gasesti, as pune Philips WhiteVision 3700K, insa nu cred ca se mai gasesc in Romania. Daca nu, pune Philips X-tremeVision Pro150. Pe H7 cele mai bune sunt Philips RacingVision GT200.

Yes, because the camera recorded them way better than in reality on auto settings. If you look at the rain videos where I had the camera set manually you'll see how bad they truly are. They are simply not worth buying. Also you can see the light meter measurements. CBI Next Gen scored the lowest.

@@m3rovingian man, why are you showing comparison videos recorded with different cameras or completely different settings? The split screen videos are useless. They are not synchronized nor the colors/exposure are the same. You need to step up your game!

@@Druze_Tito All were recorded with the same camera. Most of them on auto settings. On my latest reviews I start to use fixed settings, but even so it's impossible to record then like in reality. Still try to look further, not only at the road test recordings, but also at the lightmeter tests I do and to take into consideration my honest recommendation. I don't review camera settings here.

That is not accurate. After testing both Philips RacingVision GT200 and Osram NB200 Philips won with 20 Lux at the exact same distance.

Philips RacingViison GT200 halogen or LUXSTER 2024 Punisher LED. If you have more money the better quality will be with HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED or ACUMA Nova-S +600% LED made by HIKARI also.

Halogen Philips WhiteVision 3700k was my absolute favorite until they stopped it's production. Now Osram Night Breaker 200 and Philips RacingVision GT200 are the best, very close apart. As LED the ACUMA Nova-S 20.000lumen +600% 6500K are in a tier of their own, out of this world. pure Xenon light and brightness in all weather conditions.

Sull'H15 non ci sono molte opzioni rispetto all'alogeno. Ottieni OSRAM Cool Blue Intense NEXT GEN, ma non aspettarti luce bianca pura o luminosità allo xeno. personalmente installerei i LED lì.

Serán mejores que los halógenos, pero no podrán compararse con los LED HIKARI o ACUMA de +600%. Especialmente bajo la lluvia, cualquier LED debe ser muy potente para compensar la luz blanca. Philips Ultinon 9100 H7 LED no merece la pena porque son muy caros para su rendimiento de hasta un +350%. HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED o ACUMA Nova-S +600% son el doble de buenos y un 30% más baratos. Realmente no vale la pena Philips u OSRAM en este caso.

It's because they light and shine brighter that the CBI next Gen and that's how the camera records them. Otherwise NB200 is warmer but you'll see better with them than with CBI.

No, they are halogen. OSRAM has LED but just as the ones sold by Philips, they are really bad for the price. if you want LED I would recommend you HIKARI, ACUMA or LUXSTER LED.

Numai LEDurile HIKARI 2023 Titanova sau ACUMA Nova-S +600% iti vor da lumina alba si vizibilitate buna in toate conditiile. Halogenele albe sunt foarte slabe si periculoase noaptea pt ca nu vei vedea mai nimic, iar pe ploaie...0.

why does the OSRAM cool blue intense look more yellowish than the OSRAM Night Breaker 200 ? It's rated at up to 5000K for Cool Blue Intense compared to 3550K for Night Breaker. It's so weird.

The NB200 produce a larger amount of light and the camera recorded them like this. The 5000K rating of CBI Next Gen is a marketing lie. They are as yellowish as the first gen of CBI.

None of them. Only the 5000K halogens are pure white but those are illegal as well due to their very weak light. Get Philips RacingVision GT200 and accept the fact they will be warmer than white, but for sure colder than a standard halogen.

@@matsopi5196 Trust my feed-back when I sai all the Cool Blue line of halogens is a waste of money. I assure you those 5000K CB Advance, if they will have a pure white light, it'll give you headackes because you will struggle to see something on the road. All true 5000K halogens are so din you will be in danger of hitting something or, God forbid, someone on the roads. Stay safe and use the HIKARI LEDs if you want pure white light. If not, get Philips RacingVision GT200.

250 cu aproximatie. Pot tine cel putin 6 luni, cu putin noroc 1 an. Depinde si de masina, drumurile pe care conduci si regimul urban/extraurban. Am un amic care le-a avut 1 an. Mie mi s-a ars un RV 150% dupa 6 luni.

They are not worth the money. For H1 get Philips X-tremeViison Pro150. No halogen will be white. For that you need LED.

Eu le-as pune peste tot. Sunt extraordinare. Daca nu, ramai la RacingVision GT200. Alte halogene mai bune un exista. Pe proiectoarele de ceata in functie de ce soclu ai, daca e H111 poti pune Philips X-tremeVision Pro150. Vor fi mai bune decat becurile obisnuite insa nu se compara cu LEDurile.

@@andreimihail1563 Sunt perfecte, datorita puterii lor. Sa nu crezi ca pe ceata densa os a vezi mai bine cu halogene galbene. Daca e sa nu vezi la 1 metru in fata asa va fi si cu LEDuri si cu becuri obisnuite. Important e sa fie lumina puternica sa faca fata la asfaltul ud sau orice alta intemperie. Daca nu erau bune nu le puneau pe masinile scumpe. Insa LEDurile astea de +600% sunt mai puternice si decat LEDurile Matrix de pe Audi sau Laser de pe BMW sau ce mai pun si pe Merțanele astea noi.

@@adamsamm3158 Then get them for both H1 and H7 if you can. If you want to put them on H11 fog lights you'll spend a small fortune on all 3 sets. Honestly I'd get a HIKARI 2023 Titanova LED H7 just for low beams in stead and I would not have to worry about anything else.

Salut! Philips RacingVision GT200 sunt cu 20 Lux mai bune la 3 metri. Eu le-as lua pe cele de la Philips, maia les ca sunt si mai ieftine. Amandoua vor lumina exact la fel. n-o sa poti sa le diferentiezi.

Salutare! Minunat clip! (Inclusiv soundtrackul) Pe de alta parte, as aprecia un sfat. Recent am primit Dusterul 2023. Faza scurta LED (perfecta!). Faza lunga halogen (lumina galbena, cam slăbuță…). Cei de la Dacia au un set de faruri suplimentare LED montabile in bara fata, însă nu ma lasă deloc buzunarul sa dau 1900 RON pe acele faruri! De aceea, ma gandeam mai întâi sa încerc sa schimb becurile pentru faza lunga. Crezi ca ar îmbunătăți considerabil? Ce becuri mi-ai recomanda (lumina cât mai puternica)? Astept cu interes recomandarea ta! Apreciez!

Cele mai bune LEDuri sunt HIKARI 2023 TITANOVA sau ACUMA NOVA-S +600%. Au canbus si nu ar trebui să-ți dea nicio eroare. Ca halogen, Philips RacingVision GT200 sunt cele mai bune, insa vor fi galbui in comparatie cu LEDurile de pe faza scurta. Mersi mult de apreciere!

De vreo ora urmăresc clipurile tale, super profi, acum o sa pun Philips, dar o sa dau comanda și de Leduri Hikari sau Acuma nova s 😁, din ce am văzut la tine se vad extraordinar. @@mariancapatana2863 LEDurile HIKARI 2023 Titanova sau ACUMA Nova-S +600% sunt din alta galaxie in comparatie cu orice halogen. Insa clar daca te opreste Politia cu RAR-ul iti vor lua talonul. Dar numai daca sunt pusi pe asta. LA ITP nu poti merge cu ele. Le poti da jos inainte de inspectie si le pui la loc dupa :) Eu nu am avut probleme, cel putin nu inca :) si le am pe masina. Le-am dat jos la ITP. Important e sa le instalezi corect si sa le tii jumatatea inaltimii maxime a farurilor. Eu nu mai pot reveni la halogene :)) Iti multumesc mult pentru apreciere si suport! ;)

Olá! Os Philips RacingVision GT200 são melhores, mas a diferença é pequena, 20 Lux a 3 metros de distância. A olho nu você não notará nenhuma diferença. se você já possui o OSRAM night Breaker 200, guarde-os e substitua-os por Philips somente se um deles queimar.

Why do the night breakers look white when they’re supposed to be more yellow? they look way brighter than the cool blue as well

They are brighter than CBI, but all my halogens look a bit colder than in reality. it's simply how the camera records it with the settings I used. If you want the best halogen get Philip RacingVision GT200 for H4 and H7 and Osram night breaker 200 for H11. For H1 X-tremeVision Pro150 are the best choice.

I have a dilemma. Should I get an H4 Osram night breaker led or night breaker 200? On paper the difference is minimal in terms of liumens (one is 230 percent increase other 200 percent increase), but I know this information could be just marketing. And I would really like a white or blue light, not a yellow one. LED-s are like 6 times more expensive. Is the price difference worth the extra money?

It worths getting LED only if they are from HIKARI, ACUMA or LUXSTER LED. I can assure you will be able to find quality LEDs of their lineups for only 2 times more than a pack of halogens from OSRAM, with trully twice the brightness. The OSRAM or Philips LEDs are not worth the money for what they offer.

@@m3rovingian I am also interested in M-TECH H4 LED PRO NEW GENERATION. It is possible to get pair of those for 59 euro. On paper they are better than Osrams and looks of decent quality. But the problem that only the Osram LEDs are road legal...

@@sabakag Yeah, the fact that only one type of LEDs are so called allowed on the public roads and all the other ones are illegal is ironic for me. Feel free to buy what you think is best.

@@m3rovingian just watched a test of the road legal Osram LEDs. Yes they are road legal but the amount of light they produce are the same as from halogen bulbs... disappointing for such a huge amount of money. Only pluses reviewer found - truly white color of the light and really quite fan. So those are not for me. Will look to other brands. But I would like to choose bulbs that would not blind oncoming drivers. Will need to do my research.

Non. Tutte le alogene con luce bianca sono deboli come la notte e hanno almeno 5000K. Non ne vale la pena. Se vuoi la luce bianca, hai bisogno dei LED HIKARI.

This videos not a good comparison...it would have been if the individual videos were synchronized with each other so we could actually pause and compare side by side. The way it's shown is confusing making a comparison next to useless.

It's impossible, since the traffic made me drive at different speeds. But even ifit was synchronised the entire 8 minutes or test drive, Im pretty sure you wouldve found something else not right. I quess my feedback doesn't matter either, nor the light meter tests I do.

@@harryberry474 That way it would be easier for other content creators to steal my videos. It happened before, but i took care of them, despite the fact they had over 500K subscribers :) Come on, if this is what you had to come up to me, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't manage to please you not even if I would've had them syncronised. Maybe then you would've sais something about the camera settings, the moon in the sky and the hour and exact minute I recorded and the ambient temperature...

@@harryberry474 I understand, but still, you can imagine you have almost 8 minutes to see which bulb looks better, despite the way the street looks at some point. The enviroment is the same, without any exterior lights. As I said, the traffic makes it impossible to syncronise over 8 minutes of drive on that mountain road. I really wanted people to enhoy also the recording. Not to look at a static picture.

You didn't lock the ISO or white balance making this comparison completely useless (you can see how drastically color temperature of the osram bulbs changed at the beginning in few seconds - that was your camera adjusting dynamically)

Another ISO troll...I will tell you the same think I told the others. This isn't a camera settings video. If you think you can bring the exact way a pair of car lights look on the road, I am waiting for your videos. I guess my light meter tests, the fact that in my new videos I adjust manually the settings and my experience over the years don't count much for you. Only the locked ISO :) that will make all the lights appear identical.

@@m3rovingian Manual adjustment is important and you can see it yourself clearly in this video. Look at the color of the 5k osram light compared to the 3k one at the beginning and few seconds after you merge on the road. 5k goes from much more orange than 3k to completely white few seconds later. Did your lights changed there? Obviously not - not setting this manually causes camera to see what it wants to see. Brightness comparison gets irrelevant also if camera compensates with ISO or shutter speed to brighten/darken the picture. Clearly you don't comprehend even the basics of how to capture this type of video. Fine with me - aware of this, I'll just ignore your work, but it also misleads people watching those no matter your intensions and the degree of how your camera screws up the resulting image when not properly adjusted.

That is true. They appeared way better on the footage than in reality. You also have the light meter results on my channel where you can see they are below NB 200.

@@danielcorinthians6068 In my light meter measurements Philips RacingVision GT200 were with 20 Lux better than Osram NB 200. it's not a big difference and you can imagine no halogen will light up exactly the same as another for the same brand and line. The main thing here is to get the cheapest one out opf the 2. That's how we will make the halogen producers to drop the prices. To ask more money for Osram NB 200 when they illuminate at best exactly like Philips RacingVision GT200 it's not normal. Regarding the way CBI Nexrt Gen appeared on video, I told you, it's impossible to replicate exactly how a car light is, but after that test I started to adjust manually the camera settings and in the bad weather/rain road test you can see exactly how low the light of CBI next Gen is. Plus they don't have anything to do with 5000K pure white. They are still yellowish, just a bit colder than the standard bulbs.
