High Birds In The Sun (Dave Carrie Shooting)

After many requests we have decided to re-release some of the earlier Dave Carrie films. The first one is Warter Priory on a glorious sunny day. Not ideal but I thought the keeper pulled it out of the bag and put some stonking birds over the guns.

Lovely watch Dave, and wow that first drive. What an amount of birds like a swarm of locusts flying over. Great testament to that shoot and the management of the land. Please post some more. Really enjoy watching these and your commentry.

Hello Mr. Dave, I have seen all your "older" videos and it is nice to have a kind of déjà vu. Great video, it is so good to see people enjoying the countrylife in the past days, because I think it will take a lot of time until we will reach this time of normality and lightheartedness again. Hi Dave, glad to see you've put this film back on You Tube, i look forward to seeing some more of your older films, they're all great films. One of my favourites is at Water Priory with a covering of snow on the ground.

The one beater might have done well with a club. "Speed beef" to quote my boss's boss. Love seeing the older folk out there beating. I could think of worse things to do in my retirement. Thanks for sharing this with us Dave. Hope your crew are all doing well.

Great film Dave although I can see the difference between this one and the ones you were producing last year and this year, quality and camera angles, can't wait for the next one, need to get my practice in for the next season but my local clay range Is shut

They are taking game birds with over-and-unders? That will get them drummed out. :) Much easier to bring to aim than a side-by-side, aren't they? Good shoot discipline too.

Dear sir, another great video. Please focus some more time on the food you eat during hunting. In the older videos you look slimmer but in this video you look a little bit fat. You are a hero to me. Have you gained some extra weight nowadays? Do you use steel or lead shot? Why dont you use semi-auto in hunting? Thanks.

Hi Mirza Adil we try to get everything on the film even the food! we sometimes run out of space, i was heavier in some films these are the older ones, i use lead shot for most of my shooting and the reason we do not use Autos ! it is because of etiquette and old fashioned rules in the field that does not allow you to use autos whilst game shooting.
