Soap & Clay is a family owned business operating in Washington State, but started out online thanks to Mrs. Soap & Clay's kickass brother and his amazing web design skills. The business was started as a tribute to Mrs. Soap & Clay's grandmother, the OG maker in the family that cultivated everyone's love for the DIY life. She cried when she walked up to the podium to accept the award. A lot.

It looks like the piping soap got heated very much and starts to separate. I always make high heat soap and just in love with this method. Her soap is gorgeous.

Beautiful! Love the shapes! I make HTHP soap almost exclusively and I love it. I also get great swirls with my process. Def not enough HTHP soapers on YT etc.

You are a delight! Because... of COURSE you would have a mannequin for decoration 😂😂😂 I love it. Please don't feel bad for "being behind". I barely know what day it is... I just made a whipped facial cleanser for aging skin and was really happy to see this bar, today! Cannot wait to see the serum! Your calculation for the temperature sounds about right. We use celsius here and the normal boiling point of water is 100°C which is 212°F. So yeah, it's hot.

The piping, in my opinion, looks like if she used harder oils or butters that may have not gotten to the right temperature when trying to achieve trace causing a false trace and then separating when she piped making that grainy texture.

Hello I recently came across your deep dive videos and they have been helpful in determining what oils/butters I would want to try out recipes with. (Between palm, cocoa, Shea, and mango) wondering if you could do or have considered a deep dive on mango butter? They are so informative, thank you!
