I soak these ingredients including whole Jowar and two spoons black gram or whole udad with red chillies and grind it in the morning in wet grinder . You can make cheela directly on tawa after adding all the ingredients .

As a vegan that is new to your channel I love how plant based most of your recipes are. And they are using many ingredients not normally found in western cuisine. It is always interesting to find ways to eat new foods, and it is healthier as well to eat a wide variety of food sources. Thank you.

I’ve had so much fun, and many tasty meals, inspired by your guidance. Many of the ingredients are not easily available in rural USA, but I have substituted with local seasonal greens like dandelion, plantain(plantago), wild garlic, spinach and turnips. M'am just one correction...what you have used saying "whole mung daal" is whle Mung....mung daal is of two varieties chhilakaa vaali mung daal and yellow mung daal (green chhilake removed!)/ it may be called split Mung daal. Thanks for the recipe.

Hi Nisha...pls one request. Everytime u make the chillas or parathas, would be kind enough to mention always HOW MANY QUANTITY is made from the measurements you use. That will give us an idea if we want to double the qty to make more of them. PLEASE.

*We can make it with Oats ata also. Tribal people make it using hands only spreading same ata on it and roast it on tawa.*

In Uttrakhand we call it 'gahad daal' I am talking about horse gram it's a very common dal and the variety of lentil we get in Uttrakhand I have not seen anywhere else.
