The fashion in this movie is why the 1950s is one of my favorite decades ever plus the rock n' roll music from back then as well. The music and the fashions we're distinct back then.

Vi dico io cosa rendeva tutto più bello all'epoca oltre i colori, c'era Ottimismo, l'ottimismo col quale si voleva ricominciare un epoca migliore, usciti dalla guerra e comunque negli anni 60 c'era il Razzismo come mostrato in Green Book

This film was autobiographical, but not the autobiography of Jerry Lee Lewis, the autobiography of Myra Brown, the 13 year old girl he married in 1957. "She co-wrote the book Great Balls of Fire: The Uncensored Story of Jerry Lee Lewis (1982), which was adapted into the film Great Balls of Fire! (1989)." The producers did not want Brown or Lewis involved with the film, but she visited the Memphis set anyway.[13] Although Brown found the actors to be talented and friendly, she was not satisfied with the book or the film. She had wanted to tell the story of a woman surviving difficult circumstances and inspire women to understand their own strengths,[17] so she published her memoir, The Spark That Survived, in 2016.[18] The book details of her tumultuous marriage to Lewis and how she built a new life for herself after their divorce.

how does this scene work? Like, some parts hes sings and some parts he doesn't, so is he lip syncing in real time? (in context of the actual scene) and if so, where is the music coming from? maybe the record is playing on the cars radio? and also, if the record was playing in the background, why would he need to lip sync to it? or maybe nothings playing at all (in context of the actual scene) and "high school confidential" is just overlaying background music to this scene, but if so, why is he singing at some parts, is he just mouthing the words!? to no music? and if there was no actually music why are the kids clapping? You might not understand what i just wrote, but someone pls give me the context to this scene

I was a big fan of The Killer, and was immeasurably disappointed when I saw this film. Between Dennis Quaid's overacting and mugging and ridiculous scenes like this, the movie is a travesty. Maybe someday they'll do a film that gives us the real Jerry Lee.

Everyone associated with the production of this scene, the principal actors, the extras, the director, the grip, whoever catered that day...... should forever hang their heads in shame. This scene is just flat out embarrassing. Totally ridiculous!

Its not fine art, but neither is the whole movie. I was 16-17 years old and it paid $45-hr for rehearsal time and $75-hr on set. 2 weeks work over all. Do you know what kind of money that was to a kid in 1989? Its upper-level cringe, but I didn't care. I didn't even see the movie in the theaters when it was released and waited till video. However, its a fun note in my life and I am glad I did it. Ohh...and it was a 2-day shot...and the catering sucked.
@MrMirrorReflections Жыл бұрын
@@GQPREPPER Why do you guys all say the scene is bad? I love it, it's in the style of entire movie, and i love this movie and re-watched it many times. The kids dance acrobatic rock-n-roll in front of the school building, it's a bit like musical. Do you believe it could be done better?
