We still love Notgrass, too. ❤️ My 4th grader is doing it for the first time next year. I love that we have so many different curriculum choices to match our kids' different learning styles.

We are not using a specific writing course. My daughter is such a strong writer already I didn't think it was necessary. We've actually already dropped this literature course and switched to ACE English, which has a focus on report research and writing. So, we're not doing completely without writing instructions this year.

For my daughter, the history is going a little quicker then expected, but the literature was a fail. I felt like we were missing something. The daily questions didn't seem to match that day's required reading. Some of the essay tests were hard for her to actually make an essay out of, and I couldn't help her because it was the same for me. I wanted it to work so much, but last week we switched to A.C.E English I.
