@@bspoon5041 I do but that that doesn’t mean it wasn’t inappropriate. The word inappropriate is just an adjective for “wrong” or “not suitable”. One could still use the word inappropriate to describe an assault whether a student gave consent (regardless of age) to such acts or was forced. They are just using the more politically correct term by calling it inappropriate but it still very much means the exact same thing.

The sheriff’s language makes it painfully clear the kind of atmosphere that is being fostered in this community. The coach felt emboldened to rape the female student because their own sheriff refers to the rape as an “inappropriate sexual relationship.” The fact that the victim was also targeted for harassment and threats from both teachers and students after the matter was reported also speaks volumes about the toxic environment of this town and school district. If a football coach/drivers ed teacher comes to my classroom and asks to remove a FEMALE student, I’m going to have several questions before I deny his request. Then, I’m going to report his efforts to try and remove the female student from my class in the middle of a lesson directly to the principal. I’m glad that nature handled this situation in a manner that the law couldn’t or wouldn’t. Sending healing love to the victim. 🙏🏾❤️
