It was only a matter of time.. thankfully it was only a high-side at slow speed. I came out absolutely untouched but the bike took a bit of a tumble.. Don't worry though, All in one piece now with new fairings, indicators, clutch, set of tyres & a service.
(I was leaving a car park in wet road conditions, I opened the throttle during a corner/turn and the rear lost complete control. Eventually, the bike caught grip and I was sent flying over the handle bars).

Unfortunately there is no video footage of the incident in the car park. Otherwise I would have included this in to the video. Thankfully my Gopro was NOT attached to the front of my helmet, I say this because I landed straight on the front of my face so that probably wouldn't have ended well... That's right. You can ride a 50cc at the age of 16 on a CBT and then move up to a 125cc at 17.

I got myself some side crash protectors, handle bar protectors and kept on the pillion pegs and when I landed mine on its side, nothing got damaged but those 3 things. I recommend getting them for the MT as it saved mine from a lot of faring repairs. stay safe brother. PS, I landed on my left side too ;)

I had crash protection on my R125 but didn't bother on the MT as there are less fairings. Lesson learnt eh!? The hand guards are very tempting. Stay awesome and thanks for the support :)

Thanks for the support! If you look online you will find a checklist for things to check but it's all relatively self explanatory. Check overall condition of the motorbike, tyres, test the brakes and steering and ensure that the electronics work (indicator, horn and so forth)..

Hi, Rather than derestricting my bike how does doing a full engine and carb swap from the rs125 sound? Do you think they would fit into the newer rs4 chassis? They have a write off rs125 which still runs. I think it would be sweet to be honest.

I removed the mirrors to replace with more discrete ones one the bar ends - unfortunately they did not fit. I find there are advantages to riding without them, I focus more on the road and less in my mirrors but then of course it's difficult to see behind for lane changing and requires manual head check all the time. I'm still a little undecided..

Surprisingly not haha! Although that is the sort of service I've experienced in the past... It's a long story but it wasn't the garages fault - it was a more complex job than initial inspection and we had trouble sourcing the clutch parts.

Hey Evolution I have been watching your channel since you have had tango/RS50 and I am 16 in a few months and I was just wondering how would I get my RS50 derestricted ,can I do it myself? Because it's stupid being limited to 30mph on a 50mph road
@skenzar3478

I don't have one yet but I was looking at the 2008 model is it just a restriction in the exhaust ? Most mopeds are like that
@EvolutionMotovlogs
@EvolutionMotovlogs 8 жыл бұрын
Hey SKZY! Thanks for the support :). De-restricting the RS50s are relatively simple. It would consist of removing the air intake restrictor, upjetting the carburetor, replacing exhaust with a full system and perhaps change the gearing (sprocket setup).

Uhh, that's just the joys of vehicles! You could have no problems what so ever or several in the space of a week. You'll need to worry about keeping topped up on fuel and oil. A service once in a while and it 'should' be fine!

Ah, well glad your fine! ( Using my sisters account to post! easier since we watch the same people. ) we only recently discovered you, I can easily state, my R125 is far more fun on the country roads and back roads, considering how 'BOTH' of us ( Me an my sister ) have this unfortunate issue with our ZX10Rs we always tend to bomb it down those long straight roads, problem is, there are alllooot of blind corners, and farmers here need to stop dumping craptuns of mud and shit all over these said corners. ( Somerset, near Taunton. ) So now, my ZX10R is sitting in the garage, in pieces - propped up on the paddocks, looking so unfortunately sad *sob* - came around the corner, found the entire road smothered in mud, hell there were parts that were about a foot high, obviously the back end washed out and, just slung me off the bike, my sister couldn't get me up or lift up the bike, crying her eyes out. Thankfully some triumph classic riders came along, haulled by ass up an helped get my bike out of the way, even went into the farmers place and had a massive shouting match, bitching at him to clean up the roads, they contacted the police and with them and my helmet cam ( Some old Drift 1080P HD I got in like 2012 ) The guy got done, I would've felt abit like a douche for that but, he literally didn't give a crap. Thus, now playing around on a brand new R125, glorious little bugger, but damn every now an then, due to the position, and the fact that it 'feels' like an R6, it tricks me, I'll twist the throttle while ragging it at 86-87mph ... and nothing happens, then I sob ... sob alot! But, only recently discovered you, fun watching you to pass the time while I'm in the garage, trying to get my baby back up an running. But ey, if you ever head out to the brighton burnout in say, 2017 - I'd be glad to hit you up! on another note, I like to fiddle with the 125, so thanks for the vid involving your 'customisation' - but I tend to slap little stickers an vinyl stickers on of the motovloggers I watch, was thinking of getting a few vinyl stickers for you, so if you want some of them, for a giveaway or for personal use, just hit me up in a PM an we'll figure out a delivery method!
@EvolutionMotovlogs

First of all, Welcome to the channel and thank you for the comment! Got to be careful on the backlanes, never know what gravel, mud and randomness will be waiting round the corners to catch you out unfortunately! Sorry to hear about your incidident, but glad to hear you was able to get some sort of justice! The R125 is great but it's very easy to adapt to the power and want more! I'm still on a 125 right now and would love to have the twist of a throttle on a 400cc or so! Unfortunately I missed the Brighton burnout this year but will be down on my big bike next year for sure! Vinyl stickers sound awesome, I'm intrigued! Stay awesome!

EvolutionMotovlogs Woop woop! Loving mine, but ... to be honest, you were right, I find myself at the lights, pulling away thinking. "... Wait, whhaa? wheres the pow- ... Ohh yeaa, 125 ..." xD plus the added benefit of the girl laughing her ass off at how I look on the bike ( Owner of this account. ) Great fun, slap on full race leathers, to look like a complete prat, especially fun tucking in on a bike that averages 80-90mph ... mind you at those times, really wish for my long first gear, considering the 10R can slap it to almost 100 in first gear.
