Good video, even 8 years later. I've always prefered the supersport as opposed to the naked, although MT is a very nice looking bike, I prefer the YZF, I'm 33 and aiming towards my first bike, just need the money to buy. I couldn't afford a new bike, although a new bike is no longer in the 4k price range, it's 5k now, that's price fluctuations for you. I will soon be riding a YZF R125. It's funny how I could buy an R3 for cheaper than the 125, but I suppose my A2 license will come after I've had more experience riding.

Hey Rewboy, Evo here. Thanks for the comment. Great questions. I hope you are well. I'm very well and doing OK. My life took off like a rocket ship at aged 19, like most young adults - things such as my career, relationship, and all sorts of boring adult responsibilities started to creep in! Unfortunately, my ability to content create took a constant decline until, eventually, I inadvertently hung up my KZfaq boots without meaning too. KZfaq is something I miss dearly and do wish I had managed the capacity to have continued. I may return, but suspect I'll need to reboot the channel, hah! I do still ride, but not very often. My bike journey continued to evolve and at 23 I passed my progressive access (full license) - own a Street Triple 765RS now, which replaced the MT-07. I have folders and folders of archived videos which I never edited and arguably some of what felt like my best content to date. I do contemplate releasing those videos into the world after 6 years or so... Thanks for reaching out once again, Ihope that helps fill some curiosity. Stay AWESOME, ride safe!

hi all. I recently bought an Aprilia RS50 moped after sitting for 3 years. It drives great, started from the pushrod even without rebuilding the carburetor. but there is one problem, it won't start with the button. I found the location of the starter relay on the left side on the back side of the frame, apparently it is attached with a screw to the plastic battery niche. Has anyone found out how to remove it? without dismantling the entire moped?

It's all to do with age, you can uprate an engine on a 50, you can't down rate them.

You can also get a iridium ngk spark plug as an upgrade to the standards one they come with for better spark and mpg

@Evo Where are you now and what are you riding? Have you fell away from motorcycling or still at it? I’m just showing my son your videos (he was a baby when I watched your 125 videos, he’s now 7 and bikes daft. I started with an MT-125 and watched all your videos. Here I am, riding a Gen 2 1290 Superduke after having owned a KTM 390 Duke, Speed Triple 1050s, Aprilia Tuono 1100 Factory and now my favourite of all, the gen 2 1290 Superduke r. I remember watching you on this bike and dreaming about how good it would be. The noise of that MT07 with the Akra, sounds unreal. Hope you are good bud 👍🏼.

Hey! Thanks for the comment, I hope you are well. I'm feeling very nostalgiac! I'm very well, life has flown by and I most certainly miss the content creation. My life became rather relentless in my early 20s, with my full time career taking off and adult life consuming the majority of my spare time. I have continued riding... evolved to my full license at 21, from my A2 at 19 - the MT-07 was replaced by a ST765RS to which I've owned for a while now. It sounds like you've had a great journey on your own two wheels... and glad to hear little man is following in your foot steps. I've a soft spot for the superduke.... The MT-07 combined with the Akra is thunderous magic. Ride safe and STAY AWESOME!

@@EvolutionMotovlogs that’s brilliant mate. I love the Street Triple 765 RS (never had the chance to ride one yet). I’m glad you are still riding and doing well in your life. Yeah, I’ve had a great time. PCP’d all my bikes, so I’ve never owned any outright yet, but don’t regret a thing. It’s been a life’s dream. The Superduke may just be that bike that I keep. Never ridden anything like it. I hope you still manage time for the two wheeled therapy and thank you. Ride safe buddy 👍🏼☺️

dont get me wrong but ill stick with my fzr600r 4jh over anything new as its just as reliable and i can repair it with basic tools. plus its also had its head ported and been rejetted to match and is making 123.82 bhp at rear wheel compared to the stock 91 its ment to be.

My mate brought his son a 50cc scooter. When he rode it home for him. He said he had never been so scared ever riding a bike. I brought a Piaggio typhoon 50 for riding around the city. It was so dangerous. Would take forever just to get to 20mph. Not safe on busy roundabouts.

hi! just came across this video, currently stuck between both for my first bike, i love the look of the yzf but comfort wise leaning towards the MT, i’m only looking for short rides and i’m a 5’5 girl so i’m still not sure the MT would be as comfortable? do you have any advice on which would suit me best?

I'm confused. There seems to be a suggestion that from age 17 you can legally de restrict! I can not even find any details on the government website. Personally I want to stay legal because I don't want to be uninsured and have to pay for any damage or injury to others.

Hi man. Ive got the same Aprilia RS 50 few months ago. Any advice about oil dose and nozzle adjust/change? Doesn't run smoothly and to much smoke coming from the exhaust 😢

Dunno if anyone has said it yet but the ByBre brakes are "By Brembo" so they're still very good quality, just not as expensive or fancy as propert Brembos but for a cheaper bike, they still perform well. You can easily get the rear wheel off the ground if you pull the lever hard enough. Also the exhaust can be easily modified by core drilling out the silencer. It has a pretty nice sound without the silencer.

80mph on a 125 is really good. When I had a 125 a couple decades ago it would do 70 at a push
