Yes Bonito & Doggies are related. Bonito are on fire down here in Newcastle atm ( common & watson ) Been some great fun had. Marlin have moved north. 35:05 Makes sense it's part of the bonito family, here in the Canaries we have a similar coastal species we call Sierra (Saw) which also has teeth like doggies (only species around here that has them) but are quite smaller (around 7 kg max.) Very tasty and its flesh look very similar.

looks like you need heavy line. i use 50 to 90 pound braid with 40 to 130 pound fluoro. chase tuna.
