I DO NOT RECOMMEND WATCHING THIS REVIEW. I CAME OUT AND PUT ON A SHOW, BUT THE SOUND QUALITY IS WORSE THAN A FORK BEING THROWN IN A BLENDER.

With that being said…. Alright Randi, it’s #HighsteaksReview time @NYYSteak NYY Steakhouse (Coconut Creek, FL).
Again, I wish the audio quality was at least mediocre. But I have an obligation to post every other Monday, and I wasn’t about to sacrifice awful for nothing. The streak lives on.
Two steaks, everyone knows the rules. Porterhouse rare as per usual. They charge $142 for the 42 oz “Sandman” porterhouse. The sandman obviously being Mariano Rivera, Hence the “42 oz” and “$142”. They dry age their steaks between 21-28 days, and while not so lengthy, the additional flavor development was pretty apparent.
Again, due to inflation (which I have been more than out spoken about) porterhouse prices are way up. I still believe industry standard to be ~$130 for a 35 oz steak. So I was happy with the value I got here.
The steak itself was cooked perfectly. The interior was a PERFECT rare. They should broadcast that steak on national television, so steakhouses can see what a rare steak should be. The only negative on the way they cooked it was it lacked a crust. No crust to be found.
It also was not seasoned. Zero salt. And if I’m being real, had they added even a little salt, the score would have been even higher. It ate extremely well, and had a very clean flavor.
The lack of salt and lack of crust were really the only two drawbacks. The entire experience was great and the food was really good. The prime rib (Thursdays only) also looked spectacular and is something I am 100% going to go back to try.
We got thrown out at the end of the video because I guess you can’t record in a casino lol.
I went 7.3 on the porterhouse. The highest score I’ve given to a steakhouse in boca, and the second highest in all of Florida (behind cote). Keep in mind, if they just salted it, the score could have been even higher.
But okay, 7.3, NYY Steakhouse, no baseball, horrid audio, that’s your review.
