This method is the “push/ pull” arrangement, I take it. Others have used push only. I wonder how they stack up against each other in terms of cogging. Thanks for sharing. Great presentation.

In case nobody knows, sincrone electric motos dont havve starting torque. That means if you put it in a little car it wont ever move unless you give it a starting push or you have a device that changes the frequency of the tension.

this is not an AC synchronous motor, it is a BLDC three phase electronically commutated motor. It can have very high starting and even holding torque.

nice video let me ask you this if am using a motor driver IBT_2 to produce magnatic flux on coils by sending pulse PWM to 18 coils and changing the direction CW to CCW , my motor drivers getting ruined because of the flux collabse what can i add to protect the motor driver ? i tried a resistor in series with a diode in parrellel with the coil connected to the motor driver but it doesnt work what else i can do ? thanks

Un exelente video y una exelente esplicacion ni en la universidas enseñan de una forma tan detallada , es lo que estaba buscando pero quisiera saver 2 cosas pra crear un motor de 48v y unos 1500w la primera que calibre de alambre es el mas adecuado y la segunda cuantas vueltas de alambre devo dar a cada bobina para que me quede a 48v te agradesco mucho por este maravilloso video y quedo atenta a tu respuesta un ABRASO desde colombia mil gracias por compartir .

It’s actually the stator that has the windings in this motor, the magnets spin around the outside of the stator just as in many brushless motors. The stator always stays put and the rotor always rotates, whether it’s on the inside or the outside.

Sorry, when I made this video I didn't have a measuring instrument. Currently there are measuring tools for power consumption, but have not had the chance to measure them. I don't have a torque gauge.

If I recall properly, any permanent magnet brushless DC motor can be used as a generator, as the act of spinning the magnet will generate a charge. The problem generally lies in getting the rotor to spin fast enough to generate a substantial amount of electricity, finding a substantial medium to consistently spin the rotor (wind, steam, water, heat etc) and storing/increasing the generated electricity. There are plenty of videos on youtube that show how to make water/wind powered generators/turbines. Searching "how to make of the grid _____ powered generators" should yield plenty of results.
