You sure picked a hot day to go for a hike! Oh well, let's not complain about a bit of sunshine and blue sky. 😉 It did look very beautiful out there! But not a lot of shade and that's a pain when it's so hot... Reverse mountain climb? Haha... Have a great (hot) day, Kaat

Scorichio alright what what a time to get Covid for the first time, I had so much planed for the last week and this 😫. Hot walk but a very nice one and I absolutely love an honesty box/shop, I always buy something even if I do not want anything but on a hot day my walk would have ended there, I would have sat in the shade, eating and drink for the rest of the day! It must have been nice and cool in the church as well, another place I love looking around when you come across them but man, that steep up on a roasting day with no shame, no wonder you were face down. Loved the reverse climbing down the steep hill😂, great footage, you could start an 'only fans' site with that😇. To be honest, I do not know how you managed in that heat and without much shade either but still, a very enjoyable watch, cheers Alan

I finally did Chrome Hill on a very warm day in June. Walked all the way down from Axe Edge, loved the views on Chrome Hill itself, what a place. The heat put me off of Parkhouse (that’s reserved for August) but little did I know that the return route from Hollinsclough as depicted in the AA book of Peak District walks was plotted on paths that just are not used and are either indecipherable or completely overgrown and impassable! A lot of diversions and one naughty sprint across a farm were necessary to get back. OS premium proved incredibly useful! Little did I know that a second walk that week from the same book also had a return route that was totally overgrown and dangerous to try and navigate through four feet of bracken over very uneven ground for a mile or more. That meant another abort and having to forge a new route in 27C sunshine 🤣🤣 I know what you mean about descending High Wheeldon, it was hell on the knees getting down off of it on a four hills route I did back in October. Great walk, although I hear access rights to Wolfscote Hill have now been withdrawn?? What a shame, great views from there. Loved the video, you guys still crack me up 🤣🤣🤣

Hi Greg, that's some tough terrain you had there 😆 we always get caught out somewhere on our routes. It's a great area to explore. We bailed the Parkhouse summit because the heat, it would have been a last push too far! Thanks for watching. Take care 👍 👍

I once bailed on Parkhouse because of the actual cloud of midges. I have footage somewhere. It was almost cartoon like. Being a pasty white Irishman, I'd have come out the other side a skellybone. I'm gonna try again this Friday.

Love the little stone, arched foot bridge, why is everything they build now so crap. It would be a straight, concrete, practical thing with zero soul.
