I was vaguely aware about the farm/grind of this warframe - as going fully blind in the game is just punishment on the side of the developers more than anything. I didn't know I can get multiple attempts if I fail and wa worried I'd need 25 Vitus Essence each time I do not succeed.
For those unaware how to farm/grind Grendel you'd need to have arbitrations unlocked (which means clear every single node on start chart). Then do this mission till you get 75 Vitus Essence for each 3 parts locator of the warframe - Systems, Chassis, Neuroptics - blue print is bought from Market for credits. Parts are guaranteed to drop if you finish missions.
The challange will be, that you are unable to use Gear items, all Warframes and weapons will not benefit from any equipped Mods, and Operators cannot be used. Only Augmenten WF Mods are allowed. As you can see it gets hairy. To a point it's ridiculous. Very far from new player or even begginner friendly. I highly suggest you have at least a couple of WF's and weapons to try to experiment with before you dare attempting it.
In my mind Protea was new and I was playing her a lot so I went with her to test. She also gives energy, health, ammo with dispensary. Bare in mind that Excavation seems to be the easiest due to you only requiring to activet the site and then wait it out to be destroyed to get 20 cryotics. It's long and tedious process, but what can I say.
I manged to pull it first try, but there were some tricky situations first with the spawn of the Bursa (had to look the name) around mid. That thing can insta kill ya if not been careful and suspect ruined a lot runs for some folks. Just be patient and take your time. I tried to get cells at start but figure early they don't come too often or you are required to kill some enemies so next batch can have a cell with them. Over all prertty unfun and unpleasent experience justified by some - it's free why do you complain about it. Cause game is full of this type of uggly grind compared to it's early days. -- Watch live at / freebiebg
