As an AB supporter in the end I didn't want the Boks to lose, I was torn. They were by far the best team on the day. Great performance.

They showed us today a bit what they can do by running the ball. I hope they play like that too ..absolutely brilliant. Reffing was a bit dodgy but it affected both teams so definitely didn't take anything away from the test match if at all it made it more dramatic. Big up the boks great match...from an AB fan

Also, must be said, Ardie is bloody brilliant leading from the front. He's a bit like Kolisi, gets so involved in the play he can be distracted from his leadership, but Ardie gets 11/10 for dedication and physicality and fronting up every single time (like Kolisi also, at least imho)

Thank you too on a fantastic game and this will go down as the game of the year. All Blacks haven't been tested in a while and it was good to see the pressure SA made. Trophies are in the cabinet but a wonderful game for the world to see TRUE rugby at the elite.

Very unbiased and perceptive comments. SA succeeded in closing down the ABs on attack and prevented them from getting into their rhythm of play something they were not able to do against AUS who were far more adventurous (almost reckless) than NZ. Recalling of Quade Cooper to flyhalf was a master stroke SA's players hadn't much experience of him. Not trying to make excuses though for SA players abysmal showing.

That's the thing - it wasn't just certain ABs fans saying it. Everyone was piling on, from both hemispheres. Events many Bok fans were criticising the game plan. In this game, the Boks actually decided to run with the ball and use their backs for once. And it worked. Not only was the game more entertaining, the Boks actually won. So the critics were actually correct.

AB's still managed to win the championship. AB' s still managed to win the game against the Boks last week. Have you watched the game? Boks had several malls but couldn't get it going . AB's defended the malls very well in this game. It's fully sufficient to set a stable platform in the scrum just to get the ball out. Haven't seen the Boks winning only one scrum today against the AB's.
