What a win, and what a great atmosphere. You could feel the release of stress from everyone. Im glad jay came up to the kop after the game. Im sure he needed to feel that love for him from what he's been saying. He's worked his ass off for us this year.

@@Russ1875it always is. Bring back Keith Laurent and Kevan Broadhurst. I know they weren’t always right and not everyone liked them but at least they have some personality and didn’t try so hard to sound like stereotypical commentators.

That cheer when Stanno scored. Absolutely brilliant atmosphere especially the way every clearance was cheered like a goal. That Bacuna kick which ended up to Dozzell. What a ball to Paik. He should've buried it.

Great result & performance which gives us all Food For Thought. If It Happens Again Rowett is King, credit to Stansfield with the winner (his first One in Ten). Don’t Slow Down now Blues, we still have Many Rivers to cross so Please Don’t make me cry, just take us all to a Higher Ground. Me and my Homely Girl had a tequila to toast Bacuna’s performance, & a glass or 2 of Red Red Wine watching UB40 last night, but us Blues fans Sing Our Own song 😁💙 KRO

Brady (11) for PNE loves a proper little tantrum doesn't he 😆🤣🤣 What a performance from Blues and what a win. Much needed and more than deserved. That's the beat that we've played in a good while, and the best atmosphere down at St Andrews this season and for some time. Delighted for Stansfield to get his goal. He works tirelessly and selflessly for the team. It's hard to think that he's only with us on loan. He plays with such energy and commitment. He showed real confidence, quality and composure to put his goal away. I really hope that the owners do all that they can to keep him at the club. Ideally, on a permanent basis or the very least, another season on loan, and then who knows!! He's a proper pro, a proper Blue Nose 🔵👃 and you can tell that he loves playing for the Blues and we love him (unfortunately, every club has it's idiots and Blues are no exception, but I honestly have no idea how you can fault him). Stansfield.... you Dad will be so proud looking down and watching you play. KRO 💙

Wouldn’t you feel like that when you do all the hard work for your team mate to not even come towards the ball… we got lucky yesterday with the slip. The performance was a lot better than the past few games but we can’t give away silly chances at the start… luckily Buchanan was there but Preston should’ve finished that opportunity & it’s a different game. BUT Miyoshi Paik Bacuna Stansfield all looked lively which is what we need. Hopefully we can grab a point away at Leicester & then get the 3 against Rotherham we could do with those 4 points

@listenup852 Alright Mr Happy 😆🤣🤣 He actually has more than one tantrum. The other notable occasion was when the ball should've been squared to him when he was in a really good goal scoring position. Football is full of 5 buts, and maybes. BLIMEY we could say that about Blues on so many different occasions this season and in seasons gone by. We more than deserved the win yesterday and if the winning (and only) goal came as a result of an unfortunate slip by the PNE I would've happily taken it before the game, so I have no problem with it now. Stansfield still had a lot of work to do as there was so much time, expectation and pressure on him to score. He could've missed. Imagine IF he had, but he didn't and we won 😁 Lots of positives and of course, some things to work on. I was just being light-hearted with my opening observation/statement 😁 KRO 💙

Atmosphere was dead until we scored. Could hear a pin drop at times. Fans gotta do their part, I know it’s been rough and there’s a lot of tension around the stands but since we started coming back to fill the stadium we haven’t been bringing the passion that we used to. Hope we can sort it out.

Cracking result and remarkable luck with the two Preston players slipping up to let Stansfield get away to score. A bit like buses, we waited ages for one bit of luck to come along and then two came along at the same time! Blues played some good football and deserved the win. Credit to Gary Rowett for lifting the side after that gutting last minute defeat at QPR on Friday. I see no lack of effort from the players and think it is too easy a criticism to conflate us losing a game with the players not trying. I think it is both inaccurate and unfair. These players are giving their all and we can ask no more of them than that. Still a lot of work to do but a big step in the right direction. Well done to Gary Rowett and the players. KRO.

Superbly taken goal by Stansfield. His post match comments are noted - be careful with the personal criticisms guys. We have a good team but defence needs to be better. One or two seem to switch off!! It can't happen

The director/engineer who chose to make that cut on Jay Stansfields run on goal needs a word. Poor decision and disorientates the viewer at the most pivotal moment of engagement. No idea why that was done unless something went wrong?

We look like a completely different team we need a new keeper and two new cbs but this was a great performance from the boys hopefully a few more wins are coming to keep us safe and hopefully we can get some decent players in for next season KRO!!!

@@Mrchipsv2Birmingham were excellent until we got into the final third. Couple of errors at the back but the players were there to dig each other out of trouble. A little unlucky with JJ and Buchanan narrowly missing too. But yeah. Preston were really bad.
