The PGA TOUR returns to Mexico this week for the Mexico Open at Vidanta, the final event before the TOUR heads east. Tony Finau returns to defend his title. Incredibly, he’s managed finishes of T2-Win since it was introduced in 2022. He hasn’t missed a cut this season and claimed T19 last week at The Genesis Invitational. Nicolai Højgaard will also be in Mexico and enters the week on a run of 13 consecutive cuts made worldwide including a win, two seconds and a third. He finished 33rd at Vidanta Vallarta last season en route to earning his TOUR card via nonmember FedExCup points. Emiliano Grillo will also be teeing it up this week. He’s already made six out of six cuts on the season with four top-25s. He’s also two-for-two at Vidanta Vallarta with a strong T5 finish last year. Others to look out for are Thorbjorn Olesen, Robert McIntyre and Thomas Detry.

i don't, it's so boring...300 yard novelty drive...200 yard 7 novelty 7 iron...on ruined golf courses with 500 yard par 4's that have no continuity with golf history. it's novelty golf...that's why it's so unremarkable. doesn't matter what they shoot, there is no real competition, because it's become a limited hangout novelty sport full of novelty players that all look and play the same. i just wonder how many 65's there would be if they had to control a real driver, use professional irons with steel shafts, and a wound ball designed to be 'worked'...because THAT is professional golf. today's novelty golfers use novelty equipment designed to REMOVE spin while adding length and accuracy!! hahahahahahahahahaha why the training wheels designed for senior citizens and hackers, if they are the 'pros'?@@GerryMarier

@tonysmario817 bruh what are you even saying… you’d probably shoot a smooth 114 on that course. So what equipment has improved, were we supposed to be stuck in your era? Novelty this novelty that what are you even complaining about
