@@MrLONGJOHN11 it's sadly a no brainer to let him go, he's had a good game in a half so far this season. This game is a fantastic case study. Hanrahan's passes and kicks were so easy to read, and we got blitzed to death quite a few times, the moment Lopez comes on, the attack sparks to life by picking the right options, attacking the line with pace, and it's been the case all season, we literally can't string together any good attacking rugby with Hanrahan at 10. Not sure what happened because he was a good player at Munster, apparently he's not used to play off hand as much, Munster made him kick more and stick to blackboard stuff, whereas French rugby pushes you more to read the game in front of you. Could also be changing culture, who knows?

@@sirfrancis6058 Munster ruined him, he used to be a natural spontaneous player when he started, but it's been forced out of him and now he's generally crap cos he's confused. He was good in first game against Ulster but bar that he's - as you said - utterly clueless. You're right to send him to Dragons. Not sure about getting rid of Lopez, he's still brilliant, even if he's aging...Clermont should approach Cooney - he's more composed than JJ... . Lowry is superb and Ulster are very good but their tendency to turn off in the last 15 mins is alarming, they've done it numerous times this season

Ulster took all their best players off too early at same time Clermont brought all theirs on

@Jay M clermont was also missing some international superstars including Yato, Moala, Matsushima, Ravai etc... But the real question is what we would've looked like with our bench players on the field, hard to say but I think we would've seen a much better performance from the men in yellow.

I’d suggest it’s lack of strength in depth. So when the bench rolls on they aren’t good enough for European rugby. We will likely see a drop while the 8 guys are in Ireland camp which is the most for ulster in a while (I think?)

Clermont had a crazy bench with Lopez, Penaud, Lee, etc... kind of makes me think why we didn't put these boys on the pitch earlier because they carved up the defense

@@kennymitchell4361 I said that the bench isn’t up to scratch for European rugby. I think Ulster’s squad is in the best position it’s been in for some time. A very exciting mix of youth and experience and everyone seems happy to be there and pulling in the same direction.

Not at all. Looks more like a shoulder check than an attempt at a tackle. Completely unnecessary as well.

Why not produce your own players rather than turning to Leinster to solve all of Ulster’s problems as usual?

The fact that all but 3 of the starting ulster players playing yesterday came through the Ulster system seems to have passed you by.

Consider this : Racing have won all the matches they played with a bonus point, and all the matches that were cancelled was because the other teams (Ospreys and Northampton) had covid cases, so not because of Racing. Why would they be punished for that situation ? And Toulouse have only been able to play two games this season, so it's not like they are in a favorable position. Ulster aren't the only team who have suffered from cancellations this season, and they are certainly not the team that has suffered the most.

@@VinceratedR Fair enough. It's just annoying for the team to do so well but still get a tough draw, but I guess that's the way things are with Covid at the minute.
