Am i the only West Indian that feels super proud of this achievement. Mr. Sammy is slowly but surely creating a culture within that team which speaks to fighting for victories and i have to also provide massive kudos to Mr.Hope highlighting to players that" yes you always have more time than you think in the batting department. Can't leave out Shepherd which in my opinion was player of the series, wickets when it was crucial and finishing games when it seemed all hope was lost. Shepherd is going to be a crucial member of west indian success going forward along with Athanaze. WELL PLAYED GUYS, LETS US NOT SETTLE FOR THIS VICTORY🎉🎉🎉

The last time England won a series in the Caribbean was in the ODI series in 2014. Congrats to Windies for prolonging the streak.

Not 2014 it was 2017 when England captain Eoin Morgan did a complete whitewash in a 3 match odi series against West Indies at Caribbean. In 2019 the ODI series went tie 2-2 at Caribbean.

Both carty and athanaz needs to learn that when you are set you don’t give it away. I’m a huge athanaz fan and early in he’s career I’ve realize he has done it a few times yesterday he played across the line the first game played a bad shot. Yesterday carty after getting a hard fought 50 gave it away. Congrats to West Indies on a series win after 25 years wow never knew it was that long Kudos to Hope and he’s team on the series win. Great debut for Mathew Forde wish him all the best 🎉🎉. One to enjoy for now so let’s do the same in the t20 series and try go to Australia and atleast show some fight

Agreed! Been watching both from U19 days, and I noticed that Athanaze always plays a bad shot when he is set. As for Carty, if he fixes his mentality he'll be a great match winner for WI. He is one of the most unique stroke players currently in the caribbean. To me, he is a cross between Marlon Samuels and Craig Keiswitter: batsmen who hit the ball in weird areas for fun.

Good win Windies... Shepherd has been putting in some good performances deep in the innings to save us a couple times. Would have liked to see Carty bat until the end, he was looking set, but gave away his wicket cheaply. Much like Hope did in the first match, the top order has to try and bat very deep for the west Indies. We have the talent, with time, maturity and guidance, hopefully we can turn the team around.
