We have the greatest sport! What a game! Great tries from both teams, and when you have the likes of Zach Eckersley coming through and at 20 playing with the confidence of a seasoned veteran, you know the game is in good health. I didn't think our form was up to giving Wigan a game tonight, but we stepped up for the derby, which was great to see. Congrats to Wigan - they deserved to win a close game.

Great take on the game, 2 great games played one at your ground and one at ours. 2 of the best super league teams at it. Great to see.

@@RLeaguer_Saint Excellent post, mate. Like the last time both teams met, it was pure entertainment. I thought Sironen was a beast for Saints, tore holes in the defence. If Saints had won, he'd be the man of the match. Shame all fans can't be civil, it saddened me to see fights all over Wigan between both fans, the worst behaviour I've ever seen post-match. It's a game and we're here for entertainment.

The youngsters in both sides really stepped up tbh if was a game where both teams deserved to win, I fear were definitely going to struggle a bit now without french and field, but injuries happen to us all suppose

Most of the main "big name" players out. Mostly kids on the field. Giving it 110% all game long. Fresh turf that was ready to play on in June. (soccer team preference as they are the lead tenant of the ground) Damp conditions not wanting to give an inch nor make a game costing mistake. Even NRL class players will get gassed even the "stamina tanks" will get gassed.
