I really need to start the Ricard Swan trilogy! Faebound sounds good. I struggle with the style of Jeff and China, so I'll give the Porter book a miss. I have Dead Ailence on my TBR. It sounds like i need to bump it up my reading list

I just read Dead Silence in November and it is one of my favorite books ever! I immediately looked up what other books she's written and I saw the only other one was the upcoming Ghost Station - I am getting that the day it comes out, I cannot wait!!! 👻

My most anticipated 2024 release is The Navigator's Children by Tad Williams. A very close second is Stormlight 5. Both are supposed to come out the same day (unless something changes again) so I have a lot of rereading ahead of me next year. Lol

I have been quite curious about Dead Silence by S.A. Barnes for over a year now since it sounds so intriguing, but I am also apprehensive. As someone who loves a good mystery (a huge Poirot fan here), but not a thriller (it makes my anxiety skyrocket) and stays the hell away from horror, would you recommend it or not? 🤔

It definitely leans more intro thriller/horror, but there’s a good mystery at the heart of it as you’re trying to figure out what happened. I don’t read much horror but didn’t find it scary. It’s just really atmospheric and entertaining! I love DS so I’d recommend it 😄
