These all sound great! I have The Grace of Kings on my shelves that I have yet to pick up, maybe soon will be the time for it!

I finally started reading it. I had to put Anathem down for a bit because that book is HUGE, and it's gonna take me a while to read it. Anyway, "The Will of the Many" has me in "can't put it down" territory so far (60 pages in). If it keeps up this pace, it's definitely going to earn a high mark from me. VERY gripping so far with the world and characters.

Silverblood Promise sounds right up my alley. I really hope we get book 3 of The Burning , and yes Tao is flawed but damn those fight scenes! 📚😎📖

I'm also excited for The Dead Cat Tail Assassin's! I really enjoy Clarks books. I'm highly anticipating Fury of the Gods by John Gwynne...so much so that I've held back reading book 1 & 2 because i know when i start im going to want book because he's one I love to binge read.

I feel the same way this year; I have read some fantastic books but most of them I've read weeks/months apart. I will go through long stretches of time where I'm reading lots of enjoyable books but nothing that stands out. I'm so glad you have had some stand outs though!

The Borken Earth Trilogy is ABSOLUTELY a modern classic. It rocked my world and I will forever be chasing the high that reading those books for hte first time gave me!

The familiar disappointed me too! I was mkre detached frkm the characters than i wanted to be and i didnt feel the romance.

I just finished The Familiar, and while I understand this is a bit of a departure from Bardugo's previous books, I loved the characters and the historical detail.

So, I'm insane but I have a summer in the countryside coming so my TBR MIGHT be feasible. I will listen to The Will of the Many, and will be reading The Way of Kings, finish Book 1 of Suneater, and hope to read Howling Dark as well. You've convinced me to read When Among Crows (I bought it but haven't read it yet) and hope you get to read Empire of the Damned - it was SUCH a wild ride!!! I also have a few art history books and nonfiction books on my summer TBR as well. Love your list!

I'm disappointed everyone who loved Dead Silence doesn't care for Ghost Station as much. I didn't preorder it because I wanted a paperback to match Dead Silence. At this point I'm just hoping my library gets a copy of Ghost Station before I spend money, because everyone seems to be in agreement that it's just not what they hoped for.

Going by your review I think I need to give Howling Dark another go. I had to put it down because the time skip threw me off 😅

I love The Twelve Kings of Sharakhai. But I have to pick up the sequels.😅 Maybe a reread is necessary. But it's a great dessert fantasy.
